Well it's been a while since the Pleos have had a good romp around this house due to Lizzy's two leg surgeries leaving her with detached skin on two feet. Frankly I hate gluing jobs and wasn't eager to make a mess of this one so I kept procrastinating on it and was just turning on the Pleos every other day to feed and chat to them without letting them run around.
But I finally braved the task with some very mild craft glue. Perhaps it's pessimistic of me but I want to make sure I can open up those joins again if needed! The first trial run suggests it will work just fine, although the glue loosened a little on the last part I had done so I probably needed to leave it to dry a little longer. Funnily enough the first leg I attempted was accomplished in one go and looks as close to the factory-glued legs as is possible with clumsy human fingers, but the second took a couple of attempts to work properly.
The outcome of their first play session reminded me why I adore these guys. I think this is the most walking I've ever seen Darcy do; maybe he really loves the sunlight. :P https://vimeo.com/62224994
