I watched your video and it all seemed normal to me :) My guys would often just ignore the id card if they weren't ready or interested in learning their name yet. Also with the id card I found that if they were in the middle of an action then they would complete the action before noticing the card was there. Try holding the card under the pleos chin a bit longer to see if he will notice it.
A couple of things to remember with pleo rb is that they wont learn their name until they are an adult - so they need to have reached the walking around and exploring stage. Also they need to be happy healthy and well fed.

Oh and that is one very pretty pleo you have :) love the toenails, looks almost like your pleo has nail polish on. Did it come like that or did you paint them yourself? Looks cool :)
