Title: PLEASE HELP!!! Lazy little Lily does nothing
Post by: nailju on March 12, 2013, 04:38:09 AM
Hi everyone. First of all I apologise for my bad english, as you can notice it is no my first language.( I´m from Spain).

My son got a Pleo dinosaur a week ago, and the problem is she is very lazy. She does not want to do anything. I mean really anything. She does not want to walk, she only sleeps, she barely eats, and there is almost no interaction with her, although we spend a lot of time  with her and treat her well.

My son is really sad and dissapointed  :(, he expected to have much fun with her, and she is really boring. We can´t even give her a proper name because se wont accept the identity green card. Also no learning stone works with her. She only moans and wants to be cuddled or sleep in someones lap. When she is awake she puts her head on the floor, leans and moves the tail while she moans like a crazy. And she also makes a strange noise, as if she were coughing.

We have a well lit flat, I dont think this is the problem.

I made this PleoRB Growth Report you recommended, and this is what I got. It seems she is ill, but we don´t know how to help her. We have got all the food and the stones available..

She's hungry and sick.

First of all you need to get her better, feed her the green mint leaf as much as you can. Like a naughty child she won't want her medicine, but you need to give it to her.

Once she is better she needs food, lots of it! Feed her until she turns her had away and makes a 'no' sound. If you have the mushroom feed her that too, but absolutely no sugar cane until she is better.

In future make sure you feed her until she turns her head away and makes the 'no' sound. She likely got sick because of lack of food.

Thank you so much for your fast answer.
It is not easy to make her eat. Sometimes she refuses food, even the sugar cane.
She moves her head and says "no" even when she had very little food.
It´s a bit weird.

But we will try our best again. I´ll read the FAQ link you provided.

I hope I will be back soon with good news. :)

Good luck :)

Just a note on the sugar cane, feeding too much sugar cane can also make Pleo's sick, it's the equivilent of a child eating too many sweets/lollies/candy.

As IMR says, feed her the food leaf and the mushroom as much as you can, and avoid too much sugar cane.  I believe the chilli pepper also increases the activity level, so try that once she's in better shape.

Her health is 0% and she is coughing so that means she has the flu.

If she won't take her medicine a trick you can try is offering her something she likes like sugar or coffee and then when she opens her mouth shove the mint or mushroom in instead  ;) She will realise it is not what you offered once it is in her mouth and she might react with shock which is quite funny but she should eat a least a little bit before spitting it out in disgust  :P

She is only a week old as well, she might still be in baby stage. She will walk soon, if you leave her on her own for a while and just watch she might start exploring. RB's tend not to walk if they are getting lots of hugs and other attention.

I just want to give everyone here a big thank you.

She is much better now, I feeded her well, and the flu is gone with the medicine.
Finally I decided to use the tool to change her DNA , because she was already in adult stage
but still very lazy.

She acts very differently now. She is very active, walks, and plays all the time.
But the best thing is , that she still wants to be cuddled, and falls asleep in my arms.

The tools in this site are awesome. Thank you so much for them, and for your support.

 :cheer:

You can make this report using a program called StatsRB.  You can get StatsRB from the downloads section here on the forums.  Then just put it onto a micro sd card and stick it into your pleo rb and turn him on.  then turn him off again, take the micro sd card out and take a look at it on your computer.  It will give you the report for your pleo :)  there should be more detailed instructions in the downloads section where you get the program.  hope that helps :)
