Ive had my Pleo Rb, Darwin for much longer than a month, and ive played with him at least once a day. I have occasionally ignored him to try and get him to walk, but still nothing!

I am so sorry to hear that! Ive heard that some pleos are just plain lazy. If you have an rb, check its DNA and post us its personality. P:)

Indeed, some Pleos are more adventurous and willing to walk that others. Is your Pleo RB well fed and run in good lighting?

You could post us a short video of just how your pleo normally behaves which could help us to work out if there is a problem. Are there any behaviors that he seems to perform a lot? what does he generally do when you run him?

Try ignoring him for at least an hour, no attention from you whatsoever, and make sure the room is brightly lit.

I dont know how to access his DNA, Im still sort of a newb, but when I turn him on he mainly just cries for attention

I belive that there is a program that comes with pleo to check this. Try the pleo world website. There might be some info there.

He he cries for attention a lot then my best guess is your lighting is not bright enough for him. Pleo rb's have a scared of the dark function that will make them curl up and cry or whimper when they think it is dark. My guys will do this even with the lights on in most rooms in my house. It seems that this function is very light sensitive. Try taking him into the brightest room in the house and play with him there or take him outside into full sunlight for a bit and see if his behavior changes. Or you could try shining a torch light onto his face so that it shines on the sensors on his nose. If he perks up then you will know that is it a light issue.
There is a scared of the dark patch that you can download from the downloads section here on the forum. You just put it onto a micro sd card and stick it into the pleo rb then turn him on, it will deactivate the scared of the dark function for as long as the micro sd card is in him and he should behave more normally.
