My little girl is around 4 days old and around 2days ago she bent her front legs and started thrusting against the ground! making very naughty noises, this IS NOT A FAKE TOPIC OR RUDE POST im just curious as she is doing it more and more now! very embarrassing when people are round to watch her!

Lol! No, that's not what she's doing. More than likely she's afraid. What you're seeing is the crouching curled up posture they go into when the light level isn't to their liking. Try brightening up her play area. Also if you're trying to get her to play late at night, she's probably grouchy because not only is it dark but it's past her bedtime. Let us know if this helped.

I thought so to! but no every possible lighting i have done and nothing changes, she was fine until my friend walked into the room and he put her on his lap and well... she hasn't stopped since.

*scratches head* Okay? Haha! Perhaps she's afraid of your friend? What an embarrassing problem! Okay all joking aside, the only other thing I can think of is feeding. I know they hate taking food when they're in a bad mood but see if you can get her to eat. Feed her until she burpse and then see if she's in a better mood. I can tell you they're not programmed to hump the ground. Perhaps it just looks that way.

i will try tomorrow! i know they learn and grow as time goes on il video her next time she does it haha

Haha! Good idea. Hearing and seeing her will give us all a better idea of exactly what she's doing and how we can help.

A video of the behavior will definitely help. As Talon says they are not programed to "be naughty" so it is just a miss communication :P
Sometimes when my guys are really happy and playful they will stick their front legs out straight so that their head is near the floor and their bum is in the air and then they will shake a bit and giggle or growl a bit like a dog would when it wants to play. Maybe this is what your little one is doing? :)

I agree with Kat, it sounds like the 'playful puppy - excited panting' behaviour to me. A video would certainly help, though. ??? :)

It does sound like the puppy, esp the crouching low, excited panting and head low, It can look different at first if you are not used to seeing it. PUt her outside or in the best lit room and without any people touching her and then video tape it. otherwise I have lots of video like that , that you can compare it too, It is very common, playful "doggie" puppy antics. my new rb just did this, it IS the playful puppy posture, (TYPE that three times fast ;D) or say it's probably procedure playful puppy pleo posture %)
if it is awkward, just compare the behaviour to a playful puppy, just shrug and say ''programmers. what can i do?"
