Title: roboreptile hood accessory problem
Post by: Torterenek on December 10, 2012, 11:11:44 AM
Okay, so i have a used roboreptile and got everything...except the hood. I really want the hood, so my robot can be calm. I want to know where i can get a replacement, or how it should be made. I made this thread also because nobody wanted to reply to my previous topic anymore anyways.

I'm not even sure what a roboreptile is so I don't think I can be much help to you.  You might try looking on ebay though you can usually get parts for things on there.  Maybe you could post a photo of your roboreptile and a pic of what the hood is meant to look like and then someone might be able to suggest how best to make one :)

The hood is just plastic. No circuitry.

I know it is plastic with no circuitry.  I just want to know a replacement way to make one, like what it should cover on the head, and a way to make a cover cheap and easy. It seems i can't buy the replacement hood from wowee.

you still have to hold and fasten subduing helmet after putting it on. His furious head-banging while he gets tranquilized often throws it away.So it isn't really a perfect fit
