sorry for my absences for a couple of months :o i have been gone from all the pleo/Aibo's forums for a long time i also have left my robots unattended to as well. The reason being my absence is that i got into a little thing called the Furry Fandom. And for those of you who don't know what a "furry" is, it's a group of people (estimated a quarter million) who believe that they are part animal. Some furry's just do nothing and fail to fit in, Some are artists who draw these anthropomorphic creators (cartoon animals with human features ex, standing on two legs) and then there are fursuiters people who dress head to toe in fur, this category i fit into, so the reason i was gone was that i making my fursuit for my self. :D Now i don't know if this was the right thing to say.... Furries get alot of hate and spamming.
i hope i still fit in.

Hi Caitlyn and welcome back.
I have never heard of furry fandom before, have to look it up I guess ;) knowledge is everything.
I actually am very on and off myself in the forums. But I always come back.
My reason is not as interesting as yours though. Its just life, having alot going on in life :)
It's not a complaint, just a fact.
Any way, if you feel like you can and want to, I am curious about your fursuit, would you tell me more about it. Is it a copy of an actual animal or made from fantasy?
Pls know that I do not judge and am open minded.

well i finished a fursuit and it was my first with no tutorials... :o I'll just move on to my current project.
My first suit head was sculpted intirely out of foam and for my first time it's a little weird looking (big and not wolf like) here is what I'm working on now. its made out of resin very lightweight and easy to wear i like installing fans and led parts in them to make them look cool :D

they all feature an moving jaw so when you talk the head appears to talk as well.

I'm ordering my blank Friday so it ll be a couple weeks till it gets here :( i hate mail. But in being so impatient i made the ears for the blank today :D

they are my first ears i made and they turned out pretty good :)
I also cosplay as well Furries are diffrent from cosplaying since the fursuit you wear is your own creation and is how you see yourself. Cosplay is dressing up as a movie/anime/game character.
I ordered last week a "Fluffy the hellhound" head; Fluffy is based off of a popular game called Call of Duty: Black Ops. She is basically a zombie dog. The downside to it is that its in bad condition (it was not made well by the maker) The commissioner payed $250 for the head, and turned around to sell it to me for $30. I thought it was a good deal cause the supplies alone to make it are well over $30..

as you can see it's in pretty bad shape but a good re furring will fix him up. The eyes also glow red :)
that's all i can really say now... For those who are interested i will make a "fursuit diary" i will definitely post the end results :)
