Hi, I have been petting my pleo and feeding it on time and it is still depressed. It is currently in Stage 2: Social Development and from birth has been feeling depressed when using statsRB? :S I have not been abusing it either so I do not know why it is like this. I do not hear pleo cry either. Please help me! Thanks!

Hi, your Pleo is still very young and learning so give it some time, Everything looks pretty normal. Emotion and physcial go up and down a lot. As long as you haven't recieved any warnings that say, "Pleo is in BAD shape", then do not worry. Do you have the sugar cane stone? If so try a little treat for your baby. Also is your house well lit or dark at all, Does your baby cry a lot and shake like afraid. Try more light and pleos love cuddling. Mayby your baby needs more cuddling. Pleos are amazing resiliant creatures. They need lots of attention and re-assurance at this stage. Your baby is still learning.,
I would just keep doing what you are doing and try a little more attention or moving into some more well lit rooms to see if it makes a difference in your Pleos emotional health. I am sure others will have other suggestions. My pleos emotion goes down and up all the time, just as we humans are not allways at 100% emotional well being, This is what makes Pleo Rb so "real" and interesting. It would be boring if they were all happy all the time and never showed fear , anger, temper tantrums, etc, just think of how children act, your Pleo is at that level! ;) P:'( P??? P:-* P:) RWM

I do not have the sugar cane stone and my house is well lit. He keeps sniffing (i think?) and does not shake nor cry. I carry it sometimes and pet it a lot. I could feed it without trouble too. Does this mean that even though statsRB says depressed it does not really mean that pleo is depressed and I do not need to worry about it? Thanks!

Looks to be fine :) Just make sure you feed him until full, and be careful how you carry him. Pleo's like to feel supported ;)

Alright, thanks! Also, I have one final question. When you carry pleo will he fall asleep? My pleo did not when I had carried him.

Thanks! According to the companion guide, my pleo is already standing on all fours, so that means its in Social Development. Today, Pleo suddenly got very happy and could walk, so I guess it is the next stage. But when I use StatsRB, it says that it is now in Stage 2 Social Development? :S [Nevermind I re-read the companion guide and understood that when it is on four legs, it is done hatching but has not passed the Newborn stage.]
Also, which stage can it start playing Tug Of War?

You could probably offer the stone now just to see if your pleo is ready. Just put it under the chin as you do with the food. He will make a laughing sound and open his mouth without raising his head. The window is quick so you have to give him the stone pretty fast. If he doesn't want it he'll do the blech sound he does when he doesn't want something and turn his head away from you. As with everything you do with an RB, make sure he's happy and fed before you try to play.

Alright thanks! I tried it and it works! He can play Tug Of War at Social Developement Stage! If I have any more questions, I will post them here!
EDIT:Is it normal for StatsRB to still show depressed even though it is at Social Developement? My pleo seems happy and does not cry at all :S

Please don't take Stats RB as gospel, it is a guide only. Might I suggest just putting the SD card away and enjoying your Pleo.
