:) hi everyone just wanted to know as with the old pleo the paint came off and that has anyone had problem with the pleo rb
-
Ive had my green Pleo rb for a few weeks and he has some minor paint peeling on the tip of his tail, on one toe and a tiny bit on one shoulder. The paint will rub a bit on the back/head over time because patting/petting creates wear. As far as I am aware the rb's paint is much better than the old Uglobe Pleo's paint.

The problems seem to vary from unit to unit. Sometimes they crop up right after purchasing other times they happen later. Some develop clicking or popping necks or legs. I know of one that misteriously goes mute after startup. The first RB's that came out had very nasty skin-tearing issues but that has since been resolved. I bought my first RB on March eighth of last year and she is still going strong. My blue RB who was one of the first generation RB's did not start having any problems until February of this year. He's having some sort of odd leg problem where he raises and lowers his leg constantly.

Well, my RB (brand new out of box) was born with an affinity for extreme yoga lol. He had some bad neck clicking/popping and eventually his neck got stuck and the top of his head was touching his back and he was staring straight at his own tail XD I guess neck clicking is pretty common and many times isn't a real problem, but my poor RB had a rare case of "super neck flexibility" :P

I have four RB's and only my very early model pink RB (the ones with the known skin issues) has had any problems (he was replaced). The paint is still as wonderful as ever.

:( im really scared this will happen to me as im spending £300 what should i do :(

The occasional neck click is normal, and the major skin problems seem to have been solved .... though you might get just a little wear from petting. If there ARE real problems they should show early, in which case you'll be under warranty. :)

As Crewella said you will be under warranty so if there are any problems all you have to do is get in contact with whoever you brought the Pleo from and they will help you (My Pleo rb was from Robopolis and it says on the website that the warranty is 2 years).
If you are really dubious/unsure about spending £300, it might be worth thinking about buying an Uglobe Pleo from somewhere like eBay for around £50 - £120.
