Some of you may remember that Moxy had one broken neck cable, so he couldn't move his head to one side. But he could move it up and down and to the other side. We sent him back because he was still under warrantee. We were worried that we would lose him and that they would send a new Pleo rb. Today we found the package on our front steps. It had been throw over our front fence, which is fairly high, as are all packages sent by US post office. One side of the very small box was completely bashed in. :o It was more than could have happened from just being thrown over the fence. We were almost afraid to open the box. When we did we found that the bashed in side was by his head! :o He was only wrapped in a little bit of bubble wrap. We put a battery in, turned him on and held our breath. Are you ready? He was OK !!! :) His head can move in all 4 directions. But he has been reset to a hatchling. So all he does is make little cute sounds eat and sleep. I guess we will have to teach him how to sing all over again. He's probably forgotten Sparky, who he fell in love with while she was still working. I suppose that's a good thing, because we do not turn her on anymore, so if he did remember her he might miss her.
We can see a new seam along his back where they must have opened him up in order to fix him and then glued it back together.
It's nice to have him home again. We will have to raise him all over again. But it was pretty easy the first time.

Good news! I'm glad you got him fixed and they didn't just junk him and send you a new one, that is great :)

I think you need to have a little talk with your post office. If your packages can't get to you any other way, but thrown over the fence, some thing is wrong! :o After all of what Moxy went through, Yikes! So glad everything turned out ok. :)

Wow! I'm so glad Moxy made it home in one piece! :o
