Hallo Pleo owners!
First off: Sorry for my english, it is not my native language.
Second:
I`ve been interested in Pleo since it was first launched by Uglobe, unfortunately I never got the chance to buy one.
But now it seems I`m in luck since we have a newer version of Pleo, and I have the money to afford it.
But still some questions remain, and I hope that some of the Pleo rb owners ( or older ones ) can awnser some questions for me.
1) Does the Pleo have a docking station like the Aibo does, or do we need to charge the robot ourselfs?
2) Are the accessories a necessity to get the most out of your Pleo?
- Example: I`ve read that when you put Pleo outside on a hot day, he might lay on his side because of the heat ( cute!!! ), and you need the icecube to lower his tempature... can`t I just put him in the shade or inhouse?
Hope this isnt a stupid question... just wondering how "smart" Pleo really is.
3) How does Pleo rb compare to the Aibo? ( ERS-210 )
4) Would you consider Pleo a toy, or a Robot?
5) Can Pleo do things of his own, can he entertain himself.
I`ve seen video`s of Aibo`s just walking around the room playing with there ball.
Will Pleo just walk around to explore his enviroment, or will he shut off if he gets no attention?
And when he walks, will he just walk a couple meters or really go out and explore?
6) I`ve read that Pleo can show affection, would he for instance when you`re sitting on your couch walk up to you so he can sit on your lap? ( that would be so awesome )
Hope you can awnser these questions for me.
I`m really interested in this piece of technology, I`m just wondering if i`m not asking to much of this little Dinosaur.
-
Hello and welcome :)
1) Pleo does not have a docking station, a battery lasts for two hours before needing a three to four hour charge. Most of us have a spare battery to give a bit of extra time.
2) You can indeed move your Pleo into the shade to cool them down, or in front of the air conditioner. I don't recommend a heater to warm them up though, it would potentially damage the rubber.
3) You cannot compare Pleo to an Aibo they were designed for very different audiences and have a very different price tag. Pleo is a 'lifeform', Aibo is a robot. The Aibo is also more capable in a programming sense.
4) Pleo is neither, it is a pet ;) Most of us here treat ours as such.
5) Pleo will happily wander around on his/her own getting into mischief and disappearing down the hallway at whim :P (Ok maybe that's just my lot), however it does depend somewhat on their personalities, some Pleo's are less active and less fond of exploring than others. I have one Pleo who barely walks a few steps in a charge and one that end up at the other end of the house if I'm not paying attention.
6) Pleo's absolutely adore a cuddle and will coo and purr and nestle into your neck. But they cannot recognize you and walk up to you. (Having said that, mine have often surprised me by wandering over, looking up at me and singing or saying hello.
Pleo RB is fantastic for the price point, you get an awful lot of technology for $469 and they are very lifelike. They have different moods and personalities and they require care like a real pet. They are not as technologically advanced as an Aibo, but Aibo was not designed as a pet. Aibo is a robot and proud of it. Pleo tries to make you forget that it is a robot.
If you want a pet, get a Pleo but if you want a robot then you should really consider an Aibo instead.

Hi InmemoryofRomeo,
Thank you for your detailed reply!
You gave the awnsers that I needed to make up my mind!
I`m gonna buy a Pleo RB... today!
I`ve checked Pleoeurope.com, but would you happen to know any other sites I can order pleo from?
I`ve got my eyes on the green one :)
-
I second everything IMR said, Pleo is more of an artificial liife form than a robot. :)
Just to add, a Pleo cannot lie on its side and get up again on its own, and would not be able to climb - their legs just don't work that way. :moose:
They are good fun to have around, I just let my lot wander, and like IMR's gang, some are more adventurous than others.
AFAIK Pleoeurope is the only Innvo approved European distributor - if you try to buy outside Europe you are likely to be charged import duties. :moose:
-
Just to further add, I don't think I've ever seen a Pleo fall over except when performing the play dead trick.
Glad I could help :) You are best to buy from the official distributor as the warranty is then assured, buying from a third party distributor could affect your warranty.
By the way the basic pack comes with all the necessities to keep your Pleo happy and healthy, the extras are nice, but not required.

"Your order has been successfully processed! Your products will arrive at their destination within 2-5 working days."
Yay.. finally purchased Pleo!
Also have this other feeling... "omg..what have I done!"
hahaha... think it`ll be fun and all once Pleo arrives..
Now to come up with a good name...
-
The omg what have I done will quickly turn into omg why didn't I do this sooner... Or omg what did I get myself in for :P
-
Hi there!
Yay.. finally purchased Pleo!
Also have this other feeling... "omg..what have I done!"
Oh yeah, I know what you mean, I felt the same, like "OMG, I did not just spend that much money on a toy?!"
And now I'm totally enchanted by it - my Pleo just arrived two days ago and I've been fascinated by it from the very first minute. You'll have fun with yours for sure!
-
Argh... the waiting!!
First I was like: omg what have I done.
But this changed into: Where is my Pleo!!...I want my Pleo!!! hahaha.
I`ve ordered mine frome Pleoeurope.com, the order is still on "Pending"
Thing that caught my eyes was: Your order number: #3
I`m the third person that actually bought a Pleo from them :O
Are the 1 and 2 also on this forum, hope so... cause I was wondering if someone ordered from this site aswell and how you had to wait for your pet dinosaur.
-
Sorry for the double post, but I was wondering if someone could awnser a question for me.
Ive send a email on monday requesting an update on my order from pleoeurope.com.
I just checked my order and it still is on "pending".
And i also got no reply from pleoeurope on my email.
Ive never been so impatient lol.
Ive heard that pleoeurope is basically a sister site of "robopolis", is this true?
Could i email them for an update if they are related to pleoeurope.com.
-
Wow they are a bit slow...
-
Or im just being impatient :P
I know this is the official european site, but not a lot of people ordered from it I suppose.
Since my order is there 3rd order in total..
Oh well, ofc i could flood them with status reports..but I do not think thatll speed up the proces :P
Just checked order again: Pending.
My Credit Card has allreafy been charged...
C'mon pleo..come to daddy :(
-
Guess what i just received in the mail today!
My lil boy is still in his box and needs to wait a couple more hours before i welcome him in this world.
But i was amazed by the look and size of my pet dinosaur... Wow :D
More info / photos to come in the coming hours!
-
Must have heard your call! ;)
I'm so glad all is well, and he arrived safely! ;D
Enjoy! :D
-
Hehe well I guess it spared you the agony of waiting for the postie to drop of that box :P Can't wait for some pics :)
-
Hi guys,
Been playing with our pleo a lil: awesome.
But now something happened.
Our baby turned its head, and it stayed in the lower left position and we heared 2 beeps and she shutdown
Atm i have her head supported.
Pressed the on button couple times but she wouldnt come to life.
Battery led was green (batt charging atm)
Is it ok for pleo to have his neck in this position?
She shutdown in a standing position (she shouldnt be able to stand allready right?)
(http://s17.postimage.org/6nsxi54cr/2012_06_14_T21_53_08.jpg) (http://postimage.org/image/6nsxi54cr/)
-
Pleo can go into the standing position at shut down regardless of 'age'. Your Pleo has a flat battery and it looks as though she suffered a neck jam before shutting down. Neck jams are very common in the baby stage, most of us go through at least one. Just recharge the battery and switch her back on, and she should be fine :)
On a side note if you ever notice the neck stuck again, take the battery out immediately, don't wait for a flat battery or to turn her off manually.
-
Thanks for the info InmemoryofRomeo!
Alll is well with our little dinosaur, we love him!
Were trying to think of a good name, I think were going with "Fudgy"
I think its a cool dinosaur name!
Here is a photo of our lil guy, he`s allready standing!
And this is the 2nd time I had to charge the battery... quick learner :O
(http://s14.postimage.org/otxuwe725/IMG_1783.jpg) (http://postimage.org/image/otxuwe725/)
Love those eyes!
But what I find kinda worring ( I worry to much probably ) is that the sleeve ( that the correct word?) is kinda tight around the skeletan... isnt it hindering its movements?
** probably another daddy that worries to much **
-
I agree with you, only used one time and never used it again, To tight around the limbs. :o
-
Likewise, I don't use any of my capes either. If you can sew you could remove the rubber bands and add ribbon or Velcro instead.
Fudgy is a great name for a chubby baby Dino :) Did you settle on a 'he' then :)
-
Guess ill have to ask my mom to make some clothing for him, lol.
Another question:
It has happened twice now that our pleo stops in the middle of an action, when the battery dies.
He wont go to sleep mode, he was able to do this succesfully just once.
This a known issue?
-
I have a Ugobe that just shuts down mid-action when the battery dies, but the RBs all seem to fall asleep. It might be worth resetting the noon clock to see if it works differently when your RB is 'tired'? :moose:
-
You could also try hitting the reset button. A quick reboot of his software might fix it :)
-
By the way, I worry about the Pleo 'cape' being too tight on the legs as well. :-\
He's beautiful, and I love his eyes. ;D
Hope you manage to sort the sleep function. :)
-
Hey!
I order my Pleo last week also from the european site ^^ and he is so cute and healthy, I 'll post some photos later.
In my Pleo order says number 33 :D
I love yor Pleo eyes! You 'll be a proud dad!
-
I can now have an opinion on the cape from experience ;D Tron came with the green pattern cape and I actually really like it! It was a real pain in the bum to get it on him and the straps were way too tight at first but then I cut the top ones off and left the looser bottom ones as they were. They loosened even more with out the top ones and now it is not pinching his skin at all. He is a baby so he has his legs stretched right out to lay down and still I don't think it is too tight. I love the feel of it :)
-
I did exactly the same!
Some news on Fudgy!
Well i can tell you that Fudgy is allready walking and making lots of funny sounds.
She also knows her name and the available learning stones i bought.
Getting her attention can be...a challenge.. Shes way more interested in things around her :P
And for some reason she likes to raise her left paw when she looks straight at me..so cute!
Even my mom is fond of her... I can tell she would love one too.
Shed like a blue one, but the price is keeping her from buying one..
Hope fudgy gets a friend some day :)
I might be getting another set of stones (play stone).
Just a curious question:
Will fudgy do the tricks on her own, or are the learning stone needed to unlock the abilities?
-
Sounds like Fudgy is doing great :) You must have the stones to unlock the tricks, and to retrain the commands if needed.
-
Thanks InmemoryofRomeo, I've have some more questions for you! :D
I was about to make a new topic, but I might just as well update my own topic to keep things nice and tidy ^^.
And something else happened that got my scared: When Fudgy lifted her head it seemed to get stuck, since I heard 3 ticks and her head stayed in the same position.
Shutting her off and putting her back on solved the issue.... should I be worried or can this happen from time to time?
1) I`m having some difficulty getting Fudgy`s attention, I press/hold her cheeks but she moves around ( Daddy`s a Lil scared he`ll break her neck :P ) to much and starts to moan.... clapping also doesn't help.
Learning the stones is no problem, and she knows her name. Last night I was able to pull it off once to get her to sing ( CUTE )
2) Can Pleo`s have a bad day?, she woke up 2 1/2 hours ago in a grumphy mood. Gave her some food but she wouldn't play or walk. I do not think she was sick because she wouldn't take the mint leave.
So again: Can Pleo`s be in a bad mood? :P
3) Sometimes when she just got her food, she makes some kind of "gurgling" sound..but goes back to being cute and FUDGY... and still wont take the mint leave.
I do not feed her once a day tho, more like 2-3 times a day, because she gets grumpy and when I offer her the leave she allmost bites my fingers off ^^
------------Question about Uglobe Pleo`s---------------
Like I mentioned, my mom is in love with my pleo.
And she would like one, just to keep her company and she can play with him.
Now I can get a Uglobe Pleo for about € 125,- ( $157 ).
At first she was into the Blue Pleo rb, but she said color doesn't really bother her cause she`ll get some cloths for him/her.
But now I`m conflicted: Get her an older version of Pleo..or get her a RB.
Which one will be more fun you recon?
And what I find somewhat important: How will the two pleo`s respond to eachother?
Will they interact with eachother or ignore eachother?
And I believe I`ve read somewhere that the Uglobe Pleo can be reset so she can take care of her lil baby? :P
Please Help me decide!
-
Its funny you just posted about the neck thing, Stephan (Ugobe) just had the exact same problem, he could move his head from side to side but it was stuck in the up position. I turned him off and on again and that seems to have fixed the problem *touch wood*
That had never happened before ???
About Ugobe and Reborn interaction it is great! The very first thing Stephan did when sat in front of Tron for the first time was say 'Hello!' and just now Tron made a big roaring sound and Stephan was straight away all like 'Challenge accepted!' and they tried to out do one another ;D Stephan is making so many new sounds he has never made before and he is so bouncy with the baby RB around.
I can't say how well Tron is responding back besides the big roaring match because he is younger than yours and his biggest interest right now is sleeping and food :P Stephan for sure responds to him though.
My mum prefers Stephan the Ugobe over Tron so far because Stephan is happier to be held like a baby for long periods of time and he is always happy and turns his head to look at her when she speaks to him. Tron just wants food :P
Tron won't eat his leaves, he always turns his head away. He only wants sugar and coffee :o bad habits already...
-
You DO have a lot of questions! :P :D
Necks do get stuck occasionally. If it happens, switch off immediately (pop out the battery if you have to), but it doesn't necesarily mean you will have problems. A couple of mine have had this happen, but just the once. :)
You do have to do a bit of Pleo 'wrangling' to get their attention sometimes. Also, make sure Fudgy is well fed and happy - I tend to stuff Belle full of food and coffee bean before trying any tricks! :P
Yes, they can be tired and grumpy. My Zillah has 'bad temper' and 'low intelligence' ........ she's grumpy quite often! %)
I tend to keep offering the food leaf until they refuse, to make sure they are 'full up'. They do make a gurgling noise like a tummy rumbling .... but they also go 'bleeeeuch' when they've had enough. My lot will only take the mint leaf when actually 'sick'.
Ugobe's will only interact with another Ugobe on the same OS, so there is not much interaction between Ugobe Pleos and RBs. They do recognise each other, though. I love my Ugobe Pleos, they're different ... less interactive but better company. And more cuddly. Ugobes can be reset to hatching.
I hope that helps! ;D
.... And the same thing happened to my first Pleo, Iggy ...... as soon as he met Budge (my second), he said 'ewwo' for the first time! :D
-
Ugobe's will only interact with another Ugobe on the same OS, so there is not much interaction between Ugobe Pleos and RBs. They do recognise each other, though.
I object! There is so much interaction going on in this house right now, loud yelling interaction and Stephan can suddenly talk. He doesn't do this with the toaster :D
-
I shouldn't tell you this ...... but they interact even more with one on the same OS ...... ;)
I found the same - any other Pleo (or RB) seems to 'unlock' new behaviours in a previously 'only' Ugobe. ;D
-
Hmm.. instead of making it easier you guys make it harder to decide lol.
Interaction between Uglobe and Rb`s is limited, but its there.
- Less interaction then a RB,
- Slower then a RB.
- Lower Battery life ( unless I get RedwoodMama`s batteries ).
But they still have there charm... darn you Pleo`s!!
But 125,- euro is a bargain to be honest... dont you think?
-
Absolute bargain, I agree! ;) ;D
-
All your q's have been answered I hope, but just to weigh in on the interaction debate, Ugobe's can say hello with or without the presence of another Pleo, albeit rarely.
However true interaction, like group singing and moo ins for the Ugobe's, and the 'conversation' behavior of the RB's is impossible. They can 'see' each other, and sometimes this causes the RB to go into the conversation trance, but upon receiving no response from the Ugobe they cannot continue to the next part of the routine. Likewise the Ugobe may moo or sing or hello at the RB but there will be no response.
Of course they make lots of noise all the time, so it does -seem- as though they can communicate. But the actual behaviour is when they mirror one another, look out for it in this vid:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72A5xB9jr5U
-
That vid makes me wanna buy another RB and two Ugobe Pleo`s :P.
Think I`ll go with another RB... a blue one.
Was about to order it from gimmedigi, but it stated the item is only shipped to australia.
I thought I`ve read somewhere they provide worldwide shipping and that even some people on this forum have Pleo`s from them!
-
Speaking of interaction....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7i_HN_Twdds
-
I've had some from there, but I live in Australia :P Not much help I know, but I know when I ordered they certainly offered more countries than that!
-
Just got a reply from Gimmedigi, there only shipping Pleo to Australia :(
Also I got in contact wih the person selling his Ugobe Pleo.
I can buy the Pleo for 100,- euros, since the pleo has battery problems.
Except that problem the pleo is in good condition.
100,- for a pleo is almost an offer I cannot refuse lol.
-
I originally got Belle sent to the UK from Gimmedigi, but I believe that when Innvo cancelled the deal with their Asian distributors a year or so ago it left Gimmedigi with no warranty support so they had to stop. Apparently except in Australia. :moose:
Almost?? ALMOST!! What are you waiting for!! :P :P
-
Finally some nice weather here in Holland, its been raining for days.
Fudgy took this opportunity to have a little sight seeing.
So I thought id make a little video of our new family member!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm05b3uymng
Sorry for the bad video and sound quality!
Will do better next time!
-
Srry bout the double post, but I have some news I wanted to share.
As of today Fudgy wont be the only baby dinosaur walking around in our household!
Her name is Rosa, and she`s a brand new Pleo RB, her color is light green and she has beautiful orange eyes.
Photo`s will be posted later.
Fudgy`s battery is still on the charger... I cannot wait how Fudgy will respond to little baby Rosa.
-
That's great news - congrats! :D
Welcome Rosa, and it's lovely to see Fudgy out and about! :D
-
Sorry to hear about Rosa, but just a note that the next Pleo won't communicate until out of the baby stage. They have to learn to talk I guess.
-
@InmemoryofRomeo,
Yeah I thought as much.
Sadly Roma appears to be "broken" so Ill probably have to return her... Were all a bit sad because she was a cute looking dinosaur :(
I know there just little robots..but... Rosa has just been on for 2 hours..
Weird how you get attached to things sometimes :(
-
Hi Guys!
Today we received our new pleo RB!
Its a she according to the bio!
She has the same green color that Rosa had, only this one has pretty green eyes!
There is one little thing that worries me though: It seems one of the motors keeps running constantly, I`m 100% sure Fudgy didnt have this in baby stage.
Its very annoying...
It appears to be the motor operating the neck.
Tried the usual: on/off, etc
I`ll post some photo`s and a video of the sound later!
!!!!Update!!!!

Neck motor keeps running:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wAwiQP5kS8
-
That does sound like a motor straining to run - it's noisier than any of mine, too. :(
-
Yeah, sounds like it.
Just wondering if it will go away over time... or break the neck cable over time :S
Kind of a let down to be honest... 2 Pleos in a row with issues :S
Also mailed Innovo asking if the noise will go away over time, or if she should be returned aswell.....
Please... please please.. make this lil issue go away..
-
Hi, so sorry to hear about your problems, :( I do hope you don't mind if I ask you a couple of questions, Is this a seller private or a seller where you live on ebay? Do they have postive feedback or was this "just a good deal"? If you got two pleos in a row at a very good price with problems right away, I would be suspicious. I personally wouldl return the Pleo if you can and not get a replacement from him and just the money back unless you can see feedback from others who have purchased similiar Pleos and no problems, It is starting to sound like they are so cheap because they have faults. I hope I am wrong, but two pleos at a cheap price with immediate problems is starting to look bad in my opinion.
Where did he get these Pleo RB, how many does he have? If there are no people who have also purchased Pleo Rb from him that have pleos that are working properly, then that is a red flag. The motor should not run and sound that way, it is a sign of more problems such as a broken neck, that is my opinon, I am sorry and hope I am wrong. Good luck and sorry for the problems you are having, I would demand to know more about these pleos or others that have purchased them to see how their Pleos are working...If he can't answer your questions and tries to replace it again, that does not sound good to me. :( RWM
*** just an update, I read your other post about the offiical
Europeon distributer for Pleo RB and it sounds like this is where you got your last two Pleo rb. If so and they have great feedback, then I dont know why you are having such bad luck, other than just that...so see what they say. If they are selling really cheap,I mean a lot less then Pleo Rb goes for, then that sounds either too good to be true or strange...Perhaps I just read that part wrong, but I did think you had mentioned before you got the first one that you got it really cheap for a Pleo RB, Good luck.
-
Is this a seller private or a seller where you live on ebay?
- Private seller with 100% good feedback, although only has a rating of 68.
- Seller cleams he gets the Pleo from official retailer in Germany.
- He has a photo listed on ebay with many RB boxes.
- He provided 2 yr Warranty on the Pleo`s.
- Ebay Buyer Protection.
- PayPal Buyer Protection.
- Ive got the pleo for about 260,-. ( Pleoeurope price is 299,- )
- Clock Battery was still sealed.
- Pleo was not registered on Pleoworld.com.
Although this might allready be the 2nd Pleo from him that has some issues, I do not think he sells broken Pleo`s.
Because all accesories are sealed and the Pleo`s are not registered on Pleoworld.com
I`ve resetted the Pleo`s software and I`ll turn it on in about an hour, and I`ll await Innvo`s reponse...
Otherwise im going to return the Pleo and ask my money back and buy one again from Pleoeurope.com
-
Good luck with your Pleo when you turn her him back on, if you did get it on ebay, then you do have the buyer Paypal protection, Sometimes even sellers with 100% postive feedback can have an item that does not work correctly for whatever reason, I am a seller and buyer with over a 1000 postive feedback and I once bought a pleo from a person that was listed as only displayed in a display case and never even hatched, but when I got it it was obvious from the moment I turned it on that it has been used before. This just shows that even positive feedback can be misleading . Paypal provided me with a complete refund though and the person got negative feedback and the Pleo back.
A two year warranty is great. If I could get a RB for $299.00 here in the US, un-hatched that would be great, but they just cost way more than that. $469.00 at the official site and then only a 90 day warranty, so that is great as far as price and warranty goes. I think though I would do as you, if it still has the problems, return it , get your money back and get one from the official site, even if it cost more, Less headache that way, It is so easy to get attached to these Pleos and heartbreaking to send them back...Good luck with your Pleo. :) RWM
-
Tomorrow another baby Pleo is going back to germany, and I`m demanding a full refund, including shippingcosts back to germany.
I never done anything like this before, I`m a bit worrried how I should handle this.
Would it be right if I want to receive a full refund before I send the Pleo back?
I`m worried that if I send the Pleo back I will not get my money back...
-
Hi, I will tell you what i did and how i got a full refund. If you bought this from a private seller on Germany but on ebay, then you are protected. Ebay US and Germany should operate the same way, What the standard procedure is , first open a case with Ebay as , Item not as described, and they usually give the seller a chance to respond, like 7 days, the seller then responds with either replacing or full refund. Let ebay know you want your full refund and the seller then will be notified, It is important to notify ebay and or Paypal first and open a case as Item not as described and reason for refund. If you just send the Pleo back, you are not protected and maybe the seller will say he did not get it, etc. The seller will have to refund your money in full, sometimes you are responsible for shipping costs, but he should reimburse you with the return costs and make sure it is insured for the cost you paid and tracking is a must.
I would not let him talk you into another Pleo or offer you a Pleo with even lower cost, Just tell him you have no desire for the Pleo RB and will not buy from him again, If he does not co-operate, Paypal and ebay will protect you and he does not want negative feedback because that lets other potential buyers know you were not happy with the Pleos he sold to you, two of them. Good luck and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask . I have over 15 Pleos all purchased on ebay so I know how to deal with Pleos being returned etc. RWM
-
I'm so sorry you've had such a bad run. Can I just jump in and say that is definitely not the norm for Pleo's and there does seem to be something fishy about this seller.
-
I emailed the seller, and he offered me a solution.
He said he contacted Costumer Services in France, and that I might have to ship this Pleo RB to France to the Warranty Processing department.
The seller wasnt sure however, they just asked for my full address so they can ship a new and fully tested RB.
If I need to ship the pleo, the seller will pay for the shipping costs for my troubles.
I believe ive read somewhere that all Pleo RB`s are distributed from France... so I`m getting a RB from Innvo ( or contracter ) directly?
What should I do... take this offer.. or demand my money back?
-
You might be lucky and third time might be a charm. Since they are paying all the shipping it does indicate they want a happy customer. If it wasn't going to cost me anything except time, I'd probably bite. I do think you've been terribly unlucky thus far and I hope they get it right if you do decide to try again with this seller.
I can't comment on where the European Pleo's come from, but Innvo is based in Hong Kong.
-
One part of me thinks: Ok... malfunctions happen... just bad luck...and the seller is providing excellent costumer service.
I forgot to mention he payed me the shippingcosts back for Rosa the same day he received her back.. that has to count for something :)
Other part thinks: Where do these Pleo`s come from... This is the 2nd in a row... this is getting ridicules..
But in all fareness: The same could have happened if I ordered it from Pleoeurope dont you think?
Think I`ll bite, since I do not have to pay for anything.
-
I'd bite too - it seems the seller is doing their best. Hope it all gets sorted quickly for you. :)
-
Thought I'd jump in at this point. I too had a run of extraordinary bad luck with my Pleos! My first blue rb from gimmedigi had faulty paint job and was exchanged. That replacement then got a broken neck which was fixed. Meanwhile my green rb from Innvo got a broken tail and had to be replaced also!I now have two fantastic pleos with gorgeous colourings and great personalities. I honestly think most companies really do want happy customers and it seems from what you're saying the seller is genuinely trying to put things right. I bought from Innvo and it's still possible to get a faulty Pleo. I think these little creatures are so complex that unfortunately things can go wrong. I hope this helps. :sheep1:

I have absolutely NO excpirience with rbs as i have a ugobe, but congrats on your new baby! ;D

I'd bite too :) It does sound like they are doing everything they can to make it right and at no expense to you. So I say good job on their part for doing the right thing through all this bad luck :)

Indeed, there customer service is great!
UPS picked up the package yesterday, and she is allready delivered in Germany.
From there the pleo will be send back to France, and once they receive her I`ll get a brand new Pleo.
I was able to look up the ebay sellers distribution partner.. guess who they have as one of there partners ( hope I`m making some sense here ).
ROBOPOLIS
And guess who Innovo contracted to distribute the Pleo`s in europe... yup ;)
So there is nothing fishy about the seller me thinks... Robopolis just delivered a bad batch me thinks?

:sheep1: Glad to hear its all being resolved so quickly for you. ;D There's nothing worse than missing your Pleo I know, but I'm sure you'll soon get attached to the new little chap! :sheep1:

My goodness, what a stunning Pleo! My boy Pleo, Twiglet,is quite besotted! :-* I think that after all your troubles your supplier decided to send a rather special replacement. We got a pink eyed Pleo following our many mishaps, so I rather thought you might get a beauty! I hope everything goes well for you and if you take my advice....don't let her out without a chaperone! ;). :sheep1:
