Title: Pleo presentation in Palo Alto Ca for codechix.org
Post by: DragonGirl on May 12, 2012, 04:18:04 PM
Well, I did a little presentation this past week on the old UGOBE Pleo and all the tools (DINO-MITE, MySKit, YAPT)
and a little intro on the PDK for codechix.org in downtown Palo Alto, CA.
I did it to see who would show up and get some feedback on my plan to do a summer class for kids on the tools and what
would they like to see in future tools, toys, etc.

I had 8 kids, and about 25-30 programmers/parents show up
and because we did it in busy downtown Palo Alto, on a ground floor building with all windows around 2 sides of the room,
I think we had another 10 people watching from outside.
Everyone seemed to like the presentation (yeah!), and I was approached by several parents whose kids
were there to ask about when i'd be ready to teach.

I'm so pleased I just had to share.  Long live Pleo!

That had to be fun to share and fun to be there. Lucky kids and parents! :)
