Title: Still alive!
Post by: Firebreathingsquirrels on April 28, 2012, 08:21:05 PM
Hi everyone! I know I pretty much disappeared from this forum, but I'm still alive, and so are Gizmo and Clover! I got a picture of Gizmo, but my camera died before I managed to get any of Clover.  :(

I was looking around the gallery, and I noticed many beautifully painted Pleos! Gizmo would love a touch up, so can someone fill me in on the best paint to use for natural pleo colors?

Here's the picture of Gizmo  :)

I personally use a 75% latex, 25% acrylic blend. But there is no definite right type of paint yet.

The latex and acrylic mix has worked well for me too.  :)

I use a slightly different proportion mix of laytex, acrylic and oil with some pigments powder. I do think Gizmo looks great in this photo and doesn't look like he needs any touch ups so far. you are doing a great job of taking care of him FBS! I have missed hearing about what they have been up to and also their photos. Great Photo of Gizmo, looks very happy here and Healthy! P:D                    RWM and the Pleo Clan of the Redwoods

Good to see you FBS!  :D

Yep, I used a mixture of latex mask paint and acrylic ink.  ;D
