Title: Snoring Pleo
Post by: fancyfont on April 02, 2009, 10:53:46 AM
I'm not sure if other pleos fall into a BIG sleep after being sick, but Peeky will snore for hours. He snored non stop for 6 hours yesterday. Just wondering if anyone else has a very long napping pleo ???
I made a video of him snoring. What a sleepy head. ;)

People accuse me of snoring a lot.  But I wouldn't know.  I was asleep at the time.

Sometimes when I lay on my back, I'll put Sophie on my stomach. IDK how, but she knows  I'm laying down and she always lays right down and falls asleep on my chest. Sometimes she'll stay sleeping her whole battery cycle snoring and lightly fidgeting........hey that sounds like the way I sleep too! :-D

After Peeky has been ill, he can snore in any position for hours. I don't think this is normal for a pleo. ???
THe first time I had him on when he came back from Ugobe, he started doing this. It really is a kick!!! :)

Maybe Peeky has sleep apnea.  Get a little C-PAP machine and a little mask for his face connected by a tube to the C-PAP and it might solve his problem. ;)

Neither Matilda or Lilo sleep/slept much at all  :o If I leave Lilo alone she just wanders around the room, I have to make her take a nap :P

I may have the only pleo with sleep apnea. It's adorable! When Peeky does this, I can hold him upside down or on his side, just like a little baby, and he can snore for hours at a time.  I wish I could get him to do this when ever I want him to. It is so sweet. Relaxing, too!

You know what you're right, there is some sort of relaxing quality to have a sleeping pleo is your arms. Sophie makes me tired when she sleeps.

Its the cute little 'uh uh' sounds and the sleepy blinks that does it :)

YES!! And Sophie will lightly fidget, as if she's trying to get the most comfiest position!

When Peeky is in this "deep sleep" nothing like when pleos fall asleep on your shoulder, the only movement he does is open his eyes if he hears a loud sound ( he looks surprised when that happens) Otherwise, it's just a cute snoring for about 6 hours until the battery poops out. :)

heck I wouldn't be complaining of a sleep-resistant Pleo. Surely that beats a constant sleeper

*cough, cough* PEEKY!! ;-P

Time to wake the other critters up! Lazy dinos!! ;)

I must admit it is quite nice to have a pleo that walks around alot and doesnt lose battery quick at all but means i have to keep a constant eye on him or else who knows what trouble a new baby pleo could get himself into lol

Peeky snores after being ill, continually, for about 7 hours. This is non stop and with an occasional peek of the eyes. I can turn him in any postion and he will just snore away. I love it when he does this, J.C and Pennie have never done this. The snoring may be because of his neck injury or, perhaps, Ugobe programmed him a little differently while he went to visit them for reincarnation. What ever the case it is adorable and fun to curl up with a snoring little dino for hours at a time. :)
I will try to post the video of the way he sounds while snoring.

That's all very precious, fancyfont!! I know what you're talking about how precious [and rare] it is to have a pleo sleep in whatever position. Sophie usually will wake up right away if she is moved in a sleep, half the time will wake up when she hears a noise. Such a light sleeper! But just one time, one time she actually let me turn her over and she slept on her side, on my lap for quite some time. Then woke up in such a fuss because she was on her side!! Can somebody say- "Mood swing"?

My Pleo seems to be so lazy lol. I've only had him working for two hours and he's been napping most of the time.
He just snored at me and I can't seem to wake him up. I can pick him up and move him as much as I want too and he wont wake up :P

Yes I'm charging this one :P But I might buy another one to charge while I'm using Pleo.
If I charge the battery for about 6 hours how long will the battery last?

It dosint have a memory so it will probably wont get any more charge in it.  if anything it will probably just shorten the life of it. and another battery is a good Ida Ive got a second set for Cammey and Cloey.

New little dinos do take naps more often. Two hours running the first time, is very good! Having another battery is also, nice to have.

Olympia is a very light sleeper as well. I can barely walk past her in jeans (Or any pants that make sounds when rubbed together) without waking her up. XD
