Good luck IMR, you will do very well, There is a great need ( in my opinion) for Pleo Wear, and you ( and Kat) both are great designers and I can't think of a better place to expand. I am sure there are many Pleo owners on your own Aussie site that do not know about you and this is the exact thing they have been waiting for. ;) You have perfect Pleo models and I predict by Next Christmas you will wonder why you did not do this sooner, ...............except of course you have been just too busy!

Strawberry shortcake looks very fashionable. Some lucky Pleos are going to be swinging down the High Street. I hope it attracts many buyers for you.
-
Such a pretty dress ;D And free shipping too I notice :)
I do hope it goes well for you.

Awesome, IMR! Good luck!

nice to see there are options easily and readily available for Pleo, so good luck with your sale
Could I however be so bold as to make a request?
Considering the skin / paint issue of Pleo whilst playing / stroking etc, an outfit is a great idea, however I think something I would have particular interest in is a jacket made of something similar to wetsuit material - foamed neoprene
Is this a possibility?
I think I may buy something similar to the following item:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bicycle-Skull-Neoprene-Full-Face-Mask-Hood-Shield-Hunting-Sking-1-Hole-Eye-DH077-/120838624283?pt=UK_Clothing_Masks_JD&hash=item1c228b141b#ht_2926wt_978
And use my limited skills to make it into a tight back and neck cover, so that the interaction and touch still work, but the paint and rubber skin are protected, and where rubbed / split - hidden
I will post pictures here if / when I accomplish this feat :-)
Other colours also available!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DRAGON-DESIGN-NEOPRENE-BIKER-HALF-FACE-MASK-/160716913874?pt=Men_s_Accessories_UK&hash=item256b797cd2#ht_1319wt_754
Or even this type of thing:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lonsdale-Neo-Back-Support-Neoprene-/250980453484?pt=Men_s_Accessories_UK&var=&hash=item80138ad51b#ht_1248wt_966
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ?
cheers

Neoprene I fear would damage the motors, it is terribly thick and heavy. Of course it would be possible to make one but I have doubts as to its suitability.
You aren't planning on taking your Pleo diving are you :o

No not diving :-) lol
The neoprene I am considering is very thin and light (I have a ski mask I bought last year like a demented clown, and its not like wetsuit material which I know is heavy and restrictive)
The face / neck warmers made of this foamed neoprene seem like a good idea, but I would like anyone here who may have tried this material to provide feedback, otherwise for a few pounds its worth a try
I was also thinking this material if glued to the skin in plates / patches may assist those with splits in their pleo skin
Just a thought !

With it being Valentine's day, the chinese coat made me think what Bob needs is one of those red silk (or crushed-velvet) smoking jacket for those romantic nights.

Hehe you little rascal Bob ;) No one could resist his charms :)
-
ahahhhhhhhhhaa,, so our little Bob has a sweetheart now? Or is he a Romeo at heart? who is the lucky little gal?
RWM I think after you post a photo of Bob in his smoking hot little red jacket, he may get a few proposals! :-*
-
I am just curious, I just took a second look at the picture you posted of the guy in the red smoking jacket with the lady on the couch.................the first thought that came to mind, is . Colonel Klink from Hogan's Heros, the actor was Werner Klemp. Am I wrong, is this "Colonel Klink", the German Col, or who is this? Now I am dying to know who is the guy in the photo? If I could enlarge the photo for a better look at the face then I would know if I am wrong or not! ??? :-\ ;) Ok, who is the guy....Please tel me Bob.....................pretty please?
RWM and ole T.V. Junky ...............from the Redwoods
-
Yes, the photo is a shot from an episode of Hogan's Heroes. It is Col. Klink (played by Werner Klemperer) trying to be the suave, dashing, debonair type to impress a young woman. If you look close, I believe his jacket is a quilted silk.
-
Thanks Grumpy, now I can relax, I think I saw that episode, He, he. Actually people think of him as the bumbling stupid German Colonel who he portrayed, but actually he was a pretty good actor and one movie I really like that he had a role in was Ship of Fools, made in the 1965 He played a German again of course, but not the bumbling comedic role, a more serious role. That movie has some other great actors in it, Lee Marvin, Jose Ferrar, Oscar Werner, and Vivien Leigh among others. Thanks for letting me know my eyes were right. Now I can relax and not rush out to get my eyes examined and also my memory is intact.....................Thanks and I hope Bob gets that smoking jacket. Oh and thanks, I did forget the ending of his name, not Klemp, but Klemperer. RWM, old but not crazy .... ;)
-
Ooooh yes - I can just see Bob romancing 'em in a Noel Coward smoking jacket! :flowers:
