Everything is in the title, my baby does not learn his name, I did the process I have seen in the video on this post.
http://bobthepleo.com/forums/index.php?topic=2833.msg43575;topicseen#new
But he continued to play and he does not seem to recognize the card ....
It grows a lot of screaming dinosaur as is this normal?
May be that I would not offer at the right time ...

It sounds like your pleo is just too little to learn it's name yet. You need to give it some more time to grow up. When it is old enough it will need to be well fed and happy before it is willing to accept the card. Just be patient and keep trying. your pleo will get there in the end :)

Ok I understand better, thank you for helping me in learning my baby.
sorry to ask as many questions, but I'm beginner :) %)
;)
Thanks Kat

My Pleo is old and wont learn his name or play with the learning stones or anything. He doesn't play tug of war either.
When I feed him he holds his leaf for a LONG time. It's like he forgets he has it in his mouth.

Yes Yuki did that recently, I did a software reset and that fixed her up, so I would suggest trying that :) Make sure you get the right files!

I once saw a video of a pleo learning it's name,it needs to be well fed :chilipepper: first! Hope this helps :) ;D

If you have a microSD card, try running ProbeRB or statsRB.
http://www.aibohack.com/pleorb/proberb.htm
If is says 'Pleo is in bad shape' then you need to feed or otherwise treat your PleoRB to be in the mood to learn.
Also Pleo must be old enough.
Even when Pleo is old enough, and well fed and in the right mood, it takes some trial-and-error to get it to listen properly.
Good luck

Hello Kiala84. You wrote that your dinosaur does a lot of screaming. This might be that it is injured. Try to feed it the rock salt ( rough white oval shaped item that comes with Pleo). Put Pleo on the edge of a table ( be very careful not to let it walk off) put the salt under pleos chin. Pleo will either turn his head completely away which I think shows that Pleo is NOT hurt, or Pleo will put his head down to almost touch the table. Watch Pleos mouth carefully. If it opens even slightly gently slide the salt into the mouth. You will hear chomping sounds and then Pleo will spit it out. pleo may also make noise to show he hates the salt. This is normal I believe. You will need to do this quite a few times a day until Pleo is better. You can check for injury by touching Pleos legs. Does it make it scream? Maybe Pleo is unwell, then you would need to feed it mint. ( the green leaf with serrated edges).I have no experience with the mint so I can't tell you how to use i. I hope this may help you and your Pleo. good luck. PS I'm fairly sure Pleo won't learn it's name if it's injured. :sheep1:
