Cute video!! Goodness me, I want an Aibo so bad. I've placed a bid on one in the UK. (It's so much cheaper to get one there and have it shipped over)

Even when telling April Fool jokes.
Totally missed mine doing it since I got home so late.
Although thanks to the video's I've seen and heard all the jokes so I don't mind waiting until next year (versus "cheating" and setting his date back.)

I've being seeing alot of video's where the aibos actually speak, is it a custom thing or is it an update?

No, it's not a custom thing.
If your ERS-7 has Mind 2, it speaks in tonal language like all the previous generations.
But if you upgrade to Mind 3 or have an Aibo with Mind 3, Aibo is able to speak over a 1000 English words and understand over a 100 phrases spoken by you to which it will respond accordingly.
You can easily find out what model of the ERS-7 can and which one cannot speak, as they are named ERS-7M2 (Mind 2) and ERS-7M3 (Mind 3) respectively.
But like I said: you can always upgrade your ERS-7M2 to an ERS-7M3 software wise.
It's not that expensive and adds heaps of other new features too!

thanks, the one im hoping to get has the mind 3 really hope i can get it!!! ;D
