When I looked outside this evening, I couldn't believe the beautiful sky. I had to share this with everyone. Looks like a change of weather coming soon. It's been so nice and cool here. Love it! :) Snowballs on the tree are as close as I get to the real thing. :( Maybe this winter it might snow in my yard. I've been saying that for so many years! ;)

Oh WOW!! That is so beautiful!!! I need to get myself a better camera so I can take some nice pictures of the sunsets and sunrises around here :)

Gorgeous Sunset Fancy, I love taking photos of sunsets and sunrises, esp near the beaches and Redwoods, but I see a lot more Sunsets than sunrises..........I guess cause I do not like to get up early. This one you caught is perfect. I love the colors and perhaps this year it will be one of those rare Snowy years... I allways look for those tell tale puffy snow clouds. they just have a certain look and you know... :D I will have to dig up a couple of sunsets photos I took this past year and post them here too, I forget just how nice they are till I see a photo like this and it reminds me. Thanks Linda.. ;)

Ohhhh pretty! I like the contrast of the black trees and the pink and red of the sunset :)
Do you have a picture of the snow clouds Redwoods? I always imagined they would be dense and black not puffy and white, I have this picture in my mind now of clouds made of candy floss raining snow :P

For some reason like living too close to the Pacific Ocean, when we do get snow clouds, they pass right over. :(Even San Francisco had some snow last year. Our snow clouds went their way! ;D

That is a gorgeous sunset fancyfont, the colours of the clouds are so pretty!
I wish I could get to see some snow, one of the troubles of being in a subtropical climate I guess! xD

It sounds really beautiful, Fancyfont . I always said that if there ever was a surgery that could help me see, a sunset would be among the first things I wanted to view.

Talon, A blind friend of mine has never seen anything as she was born premature and was given too much oxygen at birth. If I were to explain the sky to her, I would tell her that is like grape juice for purple and bubble gum for pink.
I thought perhaps we were going to get rain. We got chill! What a cold night it is tonight. Burr!

Oh my gosh! This is getting scarey. That's the exact same thing that happened to me! I was born two months before term and weight two pounds. The doctors put me in an incubator and didn't put shades over my eyes. My eye condition is- watch me butcher the spelling of this- retinopathy of prematurity. It's probably the same condition she has. Wow! Yeah it really helps to come up with creative ways to explain things. It's a lot of fun besides.
