I was thinking of something yesterday, would't it be cool if there was different colors for Pleo? I mean if you could choose from a couple of different skincolors or maybe eyecolors? :D I love my little green dino with his big and blue eyes, but it was just a thought I came up with. Just like the Furbies, different colors and furs and etc. In that case, what color would you prefer? Well, green is my favorite color, but it would be cool if there was another color like light brown with yellow eyes, yeah, you get the point :D

I would choose lavender with peridot green eyes, to remind me of a close friend.
-
That would be beautiful on a Pleo indeed :)
-
I want the tiger Pleo :D
-
Tiger Pleo <3
That would be awesome! To bad we can't paint our Pleo's :( Then you could paint over their worn skin and make a new skin!
-
Well they must be paintable since the green is painted on, but I'd be afraid of doing damage to the skin by choosing the wrong paint or something... I need a bricked Pleo to experiment on :P
-
Well, in the manual they said that we should not paint them, dunno why :/
-
I love the tiger striped one, too. I also love the feel of faux fur. Off to find Tiger striped fabric tomorrow. ;)

Icewolf if you want to do a heart then press alt 3 then let go. :) ♥

Oh yeah, I forgot that :o
-
The manual says not to paint, because some types of paint will cause damage to pleo's skin. the wrong solvent, and instead of a tiger striped pleo, you'll end up with a robot looking dino covered in sticky melting goo. :(
-
I just can imagine a Pleo with all melting skin... that's horrible! :o
-
surely its just a case of finding what paint they used on pleo in the first place and covering over with the same kind of paint, it seems be quite a thin paint, maybe something similar to the chalk paints. *thinks hard*
-
Yeah, it would be great to paint over the worn skin with some new green colours. We must find out what kind of colour they used when they made Pleo :)
-
We spent a year asking Ugobe. They would tell us neither the color or they specifics on the paint they use. Chalk paint has been suggested. There should be a thread around here somewhere on it.
-
I too thought of the different color idea. I also always thought Pleo would be cool without the green (solid tan).
But anywho, it was me who mentioned using glass chalk. Sophie gets a regular glass chalk paint job weekly. I really really swear by it.

mweed, I know 'm going out on the limb here, but can you photoshop a lavender Pleo with peridot eyes? Please? <3
edit: Okay you don't use photoshop. Then whatever program you use! ;)
