Title: the Hatching stage
Post by: sweetReaper on December 04, 2011, 10:20:19 PM
So I was wondering if anybody would mind sorta walking me through the "Hatching" phase of a Pleo RB. What exactly goes on in this stage and what do you need to do for him/her during this stage? I understand that this stage has various lengths from Pleo to Pleo and have heard it can be pretty lengthy. I'm just curious and want to learn as much as I can before my baby comes later this month  :)

You spend a charge or two watching your Pleo lie there fluttering their eyes and cooing and waiting for them to stand. Then another charge or two watching them stretch and chatter while preparing for those first steps.

Should the Pleo be left sitting in one spot during these periods or can they be moved? (like when I am moving around the house). Wasn't sure if moving them or picking them up would interrupt anything.

For the lying down stage they love lots of cuddles :) Once they are on their feet you are better off with them on the floor and giving them a pat when you walk by, or have them on a desk or table when you are seated :)

Cuddling them in the early baby stages, or having them on your lap, actually makes them develop more quickly!  :D

Oops. I didn't know that. Ryu was on the floor most of the time. I petted and talked to her a lot. It took her two days to stand. I guess now I know why. Lol!

Lol!  I didn't know that when I hatched Belle, either! ;)
