hey guys, I'm waiting for my pleo to arrive and I'm really excited. I was wondering if there are any cool tricks to try out with him or her. and can some oen explain what all hthis back, front leg ,head stuff is when people talk about tricks. I don't understand any of it. 8)

This refers to the touch sensors, they have a few, there is one on top of the head, there is one under the chin, one on the back near the shoulders, one on the back just before the tail and one on each leg just above the knee.
Tricks are dependent on which OS you have. 1.0 and 1.1 only have a couple, and 2.0 has quite a lot. Crewella put up the 2.0 videos here http://bobthepleo.com/forums/index.php?topic=2401.0

Please excuse the naked Pleo, but it can help to see exactly where the sensors are - they're the silver patches. :)

OMG you killed him. Can you put the skin back on or is it perminatly like that? and thanks that really helped me understand ;D

Sadly, Scully wasn't working so needed to be opened up anyway. If you're very, very careful taking the skin off you can (equally carefully) put it back again.
Best not to unless you need to, though! ;)

Most likely your little pleo will come running the 1.1 OS. It has a fair amount of tricks. My favorite of the 1.1 tricks was "sit". You put your hand on the chin and on the pleo's back side. While they can't actually sit they'll tuck their back legs in and you help them backward onto their bottom. Makes for easy carrying around on your shoulder. Lol!

No they're free, either from the Downloads section on here, or the latest one from Pleoworld.com as well.
