I have to admit that I haven't been giving my Ugobe Wilbur much attention lately. I charged up his egg battery, and I was petting his back and my son was feeding him. He fell over as if to play dead and then shook all over as if he was having a seizure. Has this happened to anyone else? He is running OS 2. Thanks!

Hehe Wilbur was playing dead, between the two of you, you must have triggered the play dead trick.

Sounds very much like you triggered the play dead trick. :D When they "play dead" they cry out, fall over on their side and shake like they are having a fit then stop. They will remain motionless until you put them back on their feet or stroke them a lot.
To do the play dead trick you need to have your hand on the back sensor and one of the side sensors (can't remember which one ) and I'm not sure if you need to be touching the head sensor as well.
I think you may have between you managed the right sensors at the same time and hey presto!
Hope that is all it was. :) :hhug:

That's what it sounds like - is this what you saw? :D

I believe it's head, shoulders and right front leg scensor. I hope your pleo was just playing dead and it's not a true mechanical problem.

Yep! That video is what I saw! It literally scared the heck out of me and hit a little close to home. My son had a febrile seizure when he was 9 months old. He had a trip to the ER in an ambulance. Bad Wilbur, bad dinosaur!

Oh gosh, Springer - I can't help laughing but that really can't have been all that funny .... at all! Must have brought back some nast memories. :o :hhug:
It IS a very cute trick - it's by far my favourite, just as long as you know about it! ;)

I hope it didn't scare your son too much, perhaps you'll need to explain it is a trick.
