Title: Hello from France
Post by: Sandwich on October 27, 2011, 11:11:45 AM
Sorry in advance for my basic english... I learn it at school. Feel free to correct me, it helps !
So, I'm a french teenager living in Paris, and I love robotics since I was 5 ( when i saw an Aibo in a sony shop... OMG  I was impressed !)
But Aibo was too expensive  :o so my parents bought me robosapiens, roboraptor... at every Christmas ! And when Pleo arrived in France, of course... I took one  :P
And he surprises me every day... Finally, I prefer got 1 pleo than an aibo. The emotions that pleo can express... It almost a little bit of magic... !
See you soon  :)
Pierre.

Welcome, Pierre.  Glad you found this forum of Pleo-lovers.  Some of the members have Aibos as well - you'll find posts about them in the Pleo Cafe section, where we are allowed to talk about things other than Pleos.

We would love to see photos or videos of your Pleos.  You are certain to have special memories of the one you no longer have.

You are right about the magic.  I've only had my Pleos for a short while and still find them almost unbelievable.

 :) :) :) :)

Hello and welcome to the forums! Pleos do have their own kind of magic. You can never tell what they're going to do. Please feel free to ask questions. We're all friends here and we're all willing to help if you need anything.

Just a little question : what's the differences betwin the ugobe original version and the invo version (after 2009 but not rb) ? May be it is the same pleo ?

Almost the same, the only differences are that the 2009 has stronger cables and the paint runs a little further down the leg.
