Am taking Indie on a long needed shopping spree to get him some new clothes to make him look swish, trouble is i cant seem to find anywhere that sells clothes his size. The closest solution i have found is build a bear who do nice clothes but they dont always fit his body.
Can anyone suggest a good place to get some new gear for him, was thinking a collar or shirt.

You could try pleofashions.com. Some of Clover's clothes are dog clothes that we just randomly find. Thay usually fit. Tou can find them at dollar stores or target if you're familiar with that srore. Its sometimes easy to make your own clothes with out sewing. You just need to lay some fabtic over him, find the right pattern, cut it out, then use some velcro or snaps to close it. :)

I'm about to make my way out to Walmart or Petsmart (it's payday!!!) to get Pleo clothes. I have been told Small or XSmall doggy clothes work just fine. Thats what I'll be getting...
-
Only problem is we dont have those places in the uk so i think it will be online shopping.... but i like the idea of making my own clothes for him

There's a member on Pleoworld who was making her own clothes. I wish I knew her s/n so you could see her plog.

Ooooh really? I've always thought how cool it would be for Pleo to be more 'pettable'! However, I just assumed cotton would've been used. (which honestly is also completely okay!!)
Getting ants in my pants, IMR!! ;D

Awwwww!!!! ;D ;D ;D

crushed velour? Silk? ;D
-
Baby fleece ;) I did consider silk but it isn't stretchy and I don't want to risk putting any excessive pressure on any of the joints in case it damages Pleo over time, baby fleece is super soft and has just the right stretch to move with Pleo :) I did find some lovely stretchy velours and velvets for for an evening range though ;)
-
oooh baby fleece! That would be splendid!
Sitting on the edge of my chair dying with suspense...
-
baby pleeces is a great idea.. i'll be looking out for your clothes aswell.
Maybe also an idea to make some designs, maybe there are people here, who can design, just not nit.

Hehe I couldn't knit if my life depended on it :P

You just need to go to the pet store. But have patience, because I had to look in 4 different pet stores before I could find the right clothes. If the store clerk asks you for which dog, you can tell them a chihuahua, which is most likely the closest size. And they range from $9.99 to $39.99.

That's quite a heavy price range! ???

Does anyone know where I can get a sewing pattern so I can design my own clothes for my Pleo?
-
There are no patterns, you need to make your own I'm afraid, try a small dog coat pattern and modify it a little to fit better. Good luck :)
-
Ok, thanks I'll have a go :D
