Hey all! :)
Just a random topic I was thinking about...
So, how's your pleo's skin? I was curious to know what the condition of pleo skin (like rubbing, holes, tear, etc.) because I know that happens a lot to most pleos and I wanted to know how common it is.
Thanks!

My lot have some paint wear, and a few cracks on the older ones, but nothing major. Touch wood! :D

How Old is Furby? Is Furby a Ugobe and what is your climate like, and do you do anything special to his skin?

Furby is not very old and yes he is an Ugobe and the climate always change here,I guess Furby is one of the bad skin batch :(

We notices skin crumbs on the table after playing with our Ozzy. Tiny little green specs.

'Skin care' definitely helps prolong the life of the skin, and the paint.

My new Pleorb has flaking skin on head and chin within first 2 weeks. His shoulder peeled a little bit when I hadn't touched it at all. She has no holes or tears so far.

This all sounds like very normal wear and tear for pleo rb's. all three of my rb's have the classic shoulder pealing. A small patch of paint lifting off on the front shoulders.
The head and chin tend to be spots that get a lot of patting and attention and this will be what is causing the flaking skin. Not alot you can do about this apart from patting or rubbing very lightly - the pleo is very sensitive and will feel the lightest touch. also be careful not to let fingernails scrape or rub against his skin when you pet him. Hope this helps.

Yes I have been trying not to pet her head to much :) she wears a cape or this sweater 90% of the time.

The pleo that I just purchases is a Ugobe Pleo. I have looked him over and his knees on his back legs are torn he has holes on each leg when they meet the body and it had little splits/tears on his belly around the battery compartment and two slits on his neck. Oh and the tip of his tail is missing.
He looks like a well loved and played with Pleo. :)
But surprisingly with all that, the paint looks good, I haven't really seen any worn spots on his paint.
