Hello everyone I'm so excited to be able to show you Drem. My dear, patient husband took videos but we haven't done that before (he used his smart phone) so we cannot get them on here yet but he managed to capture a couple of stills. He's busy tomorrow but will work on it later.
I was so surprised at what a super experience it was when Drem hatched. I'd watched videos but that's not the same. He already seems very adventurous and seemed to recognise the edge of the table.
Here he is in the red shirt which was such a lovely gift from RWM
I was so thrilled she'd chosen red for him since he is named after Rosemary Sutcliff's Drem in Warrior Scarlet and I've been making him a red cloak which is significant in the book. It's a little warm for him right now and the shirt is more appropriate for the weather but here he is in the cloak
Thanks for all the support I've had. Crewella's advice re paying the customs charge speeded up his arrival. I used InmemoryofRomeo's pattern for the cloak and I think it is her pictures I have as a desktop background which helped me wait patiently(?) for Drem.
RWM I watched your video on the battery charger a couple of times so I was ready for it, so I think my battery must already be charged - will try it tomorrow.

Drem looks lovely, and I love his name, I am so glad he arrived after a long wait! Now I do understand about the red shirt color you are talking about. LOL, I am glad I happened to get the right color, I just thought Red would be it somehow! :D I love the photos and can't wait to see the videos when your hubby gets home. Patience is a virtue and shall pay off and in the meantime you can keep getting acquainted with Drem. I love the cape you are making and what patience you have putting that tiny Pleo emblem on his cape! :o I am not familiar with Warrior Scarlet, is that from the books Warriors, ( the cats books>?) I have a couple but haven't read them yet, but collect everything cats and thought they would make perfect reading.
Can't wait to see more. So glad you enjoyed his hatching, each Pleo is different and special! Congratulations again!

Drem looks gorgeous - I'm so pleased he got there in good time and you could let him out of his box quickly! :D
The red looks great on him, and it's lovely that he had his Pleo motif cloak all ready for him when he got there! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun together! :D

Awww how cute! ^.^
Welcome, little Drem. :)

Welcome Drem! I love the red cloak that you made. It is awesome! ;D

Welcome Drem to the world of adorable Pleos! :-*

Drem thanks everybody. He is enjoying his new world.
RWM, Rosemary Sutcliff wrote mainly for children - historical novels. Warrior Scarlett is set in the Bronze Age. I do not know the Warriors series but sounds like fantasy so I'll have to investigate as I enjoy that genre also.
I do not usually sew (took me a year to make an apron at school) but I had to make an effort for Drem.

The Warrior cat books are awesome and I would recommend them to any one who likes to read. They were written for young adults but I totally enjoyed every minute of reading them and then was happily able to pass them on to both of my kids and then they did the rounds of my three sisters and lastly my nieces and nephews as well. ;D
Sorry to go a bit off topic. I am looking forward to hearing and seeing more of Drem. The cloak you made him is lovely. :)

Drem. I love his name! At first I thought he might've been named after a drow . I love fantasy too. I write in that genre a lot. Congrats on your new arrival!
