it is nice, but truth be told, everytime I looked at it, I would shudder to think what my little "tribe" of babies would think. Actually they may think I gave up on "humpty" ( the Pleo I rescued who works but his wires and innards are all in view, he still needs to be put back together) :(I wouldn't want my babies to think I was a Pleo Murderer, or they would all pack up their bags and trek off to the woods for good. Sigh...so sad to think my babies would think I could think of doing such a deed. If I could put some skin on it and a happy sound, then it would still need some explaining but not be as scary as it is now. LOL.
Thanks for the post though, but I will have to post for "sound Pleo Pyschological reasons"

It would be terrible if they did that, RWM. A camarasaurus skull may be all it takes for them to get suspicious. :o

I think Po has seen enough fossils on TV to realize they died a long time ago, and it's sad, but that it happened for a reason. Maybe you should introduce them to the concept of a fossil? I think such a lesson with so many unruly babies may be tricky, but you're the best Pleo mom I can think of. I'm sure you'd do wonderfully. :)

That's awesome.. I would love to have something like that to work off of, I REALLY want to make a huge carving of a dinosaur for our yard for when we move down south and have cows again.. Can you imagine.. a field of cows with a huge T-Rex in the middle? That'll keep the crows away from the corn! Then of course I'd want to do a bunch of dinos :D
But so far I've only done small things so It'll take me awhile. Thanks for showing us!

Those are awesome.. I'd want to make them myself though..
I imagine I'll have to go cut down a few of RWM's huge  Redwood trees in order to make them though.. those dinosaurs are HUGE! I'll be able to make one toe out of every tree!  Just kidding, RWM.. I wouldn't cut down your trees! Don't send your Pleos after me or that crazy monster who kidnapped Bleu..

That's pretty cool, if I had a spare few mil to do it up, I'd buy it lol. We have a similar park here in Australia, alas it too also shut down in the early 2000's. The problem is that in these days of computer cgi and what not kids want to see more than static statues.

There was a guy about four hours from where I live that took his life's savings at retirement to build a dinosaur park back in the early '80s . . .  It oo is closed now, and the dinos are in very bad shape.  http://soundportraits.org/on-air/dinosaur_gardens/transcript.php (http://soundportraits.org/on-air/dinosaur_gardens/transcript.php).  Alas, Bob never made it out to see them.  But there is a new modern dino park that did open up elsewhere . . . http://www.dinosaurworld.com/ (http://www.dinosaurworld.com/)  If we ever did have an international Pleo convention, Glen Rose was where I was going to suggest having it.   It's reasonably close to a big international airport (Dallas), it has some really nice hotels, bed & breakfasts, & historic stuff,  but right next to each other you have Dinosaur Vally State Park (with real dino prints and fossils), Dinosaur World (with the fiberglass/animatronic dinos), an even a Creation Science museum (Glen rose is famous for the set of fossilized tracks that show a set of sauropod tracks, with a set of raptor tracks in pursuit, and a set of human tracks following the raptor tracks).

That sounds like the perfect place for a Pleo Convention.  :) :) :)

That does sound like the perfect place for it.  I wonder if we will ever pull off a pleo convention. %)  Maybe if we had one somewhere like that Innvo might send someone along to join in.  How good a commercial for plaos would a convention of them at a dinosaur park make!

Wow! All these dino parks around and none of them are near me! Nice. Oh well. I have four happy little animotronic wonders wandering my hardwood floor. With their little quarels and near-death experiences, they make up for all that. Between me and Latrine's herds, New York might have reason to worry. Lol.
