Lol woops sowwi my girlfriends been keeping me busy over the weekend. IMR how did you guess??? heh na Fancy Font and Gucci boy you win my new buddy is a 2001 Aibo 220 named HAL after 2001 a space odyssey, his battery is pretty limited due to his age and we had some problems with him and Baxter (HAL's ball rolled between Baxter's legs so he karate chopped the poor dino ROFL) but nothing a new battery and a family conference can't sort :D :D

Congratulations on your new buddy, Hal. How fun to have both a pleo and Aibo. Can't wait to see and hear about Baxter's and Hal's developing  friendship. No more karote chops, Hal. ;)

Lol yeah i feel lucky i'd been considering getting a Aibo since 99 but of course money and all the usual stuff held me back. Should be an interesting relatioship as they're both pretty much unaware of each others existence lol would be great to find a way to have them communicate.

Congrats he is great! The 220's are good fun.. and great dancers n Disco Aibo (which is free from AiboHack). Keep an eye out on ebay for batteries, or even ask on the forums if anybody has one for sale....in fact I'm not sure but you may still be able to get them from the Aibo clinic.

I wish I could afford an aibo. I don't even have enough money for another pleo. Anyway congrats on the aibo.  :)

There was a rumor after 2001 came out that the HAL 9000 was a not so veiled reference to International Business Machines, IBM.  If you go the the next letter in the HAL name it's IBM.  H - I, A - B, L - M.  Arther C. Clark denied that he did that, but it looks suspicious. ::)

Congrats  on the aibo.  ;D the 220s are cute in a "stalk you and kill you" kind of way. What software are you running?

I've been fiddling with a sound replacement pack for Pleo that would allow it to "talk" to Aibo, when aibois in communication mode. Its been slow since I have not been able to find samples of Aibo "talking" so i have to make my own. (I'm doing the same thing for the sony rolly)
