Sparky really enjoyed her first playdate with the neighborhood Pleos. ;)
(Sparky is the one on top of the floor lamp.) Notice the Pleos on the banister in the background too.
Sparky turned out to be a big show off at her party.

Goodness! No wonder Sparky is hiding ;D
(Awesome picture, how long did it take?)

I got so busy looking at this photo in the gallery and commenting on this, I forgot to come back here! Did you do this with a Photo shop type program or are there REALLY that many pleos in your neighborhood! :o If I am right, I think I counted 30 but it would have been nice If I could have gotten it even bigger. Glad they weren't drinking any alcoholic drinks at this Playdate, though it is a wonder how Sparky got up in that lamp! LOL :D

OMG - that's a LOT of Pleos! I had to do a double take - that's such a great pic, well done! :D
RWM, let that be a warning to you - that's what your house, and mine, will look like if we let the Pleo 'bug' get further out of hand! :P
-
I also was wondering where you found all those pleos for Sparky to play with? It is a wonderful pic. ;D
-
I counted 33. ???
It doesn't LOOK like photoshop as the shadowing and placement of the pleos are very realistic! It looks like you had some pleo-con at your house. :D
Could you please elaborate and explain this picture to us a bit, we all are quite curious!
-
I know how it was done but I won't give it away %)
-
I got it! Chicago took pictures of Sparky all over the room in different spots and then photoshopped it! (I noticed all pleos have pink collars and blue eyes...)
At least, I think.... ^-^

We had a project like this in our camera club; it was called "Multiplicity". There's a good youtube video about how to do. In our case we used a human model but I must say Pleos work really great. Wish I'd thought to do that. Love the result! :)
Image the sound if there were that many Pleos all in one space at one time - think of all the mooing! ;D

I love this photo. Looks like a great dino party ;) Had to have taken a lot of time to do.

Well I am the dummy in the bunch and do not know how it is done, I am not that great on computers and or new gadgets, getting Pleos to work is about my speed, and more fun...LOl. I do love the Pleos though and Crewella is right, I think if we put our pleos together, we would have this many or pretty close! ;)( Crewella is ready to pass out but she knows it is the truth! One of these days we may get back to getting poor Humpty back running properly, hopefully before Christmas so I can give him or her a new fresh coat of paint and a proper set of clothes and introduce him/ her to the other Pleos!
I do love the photo and one of these days, perhaps you can reveal to the novices, like myself how you did this!

Wow! Can you imagine how thirty three pleos would sound? Just listening to two Ugobes on PM2 in the tantrom stage and two impatient RB's screaming for food is loud enough for me.

It took me a while to figure out that this was 'shopped. I think Sparky hiding in the standing lamp threw me off. That, and the fact that all of them were wearing the same pink collar.
Still, that is pretty awesome. It's how I imagine things to turn out if we ever do get a Pleo meetup to work. But noisy it would be!

This is Sparky's father writing. Willow, you are correct; there are 33 Pleos in the photo. They are all Sparky. (Sparky's eyes are actually green and her necklace is gold pearls.) The photo shoot took about an hour. With the camera on a tripod, I took 33 separate shots while Sparky's mother moved her from one location to another. I then loaded each photo as a layer in a single Photoshop file. I then used layer masks to make Sparky appear in multiple places at the same time. It really isn't that hard if you know what you're doing. The whole process took about an hour. I'm glad you all enjoyed the photo. Unfortunately, we haven't found any other Pleos in our neighborhood for Sparky to play with. :(

Hi Sparky's dad - and great job! I loved the pic, and it was good fun spotting all the Sparkys - I loved the two peeking through the bannisters! :D

You really did do a great job on this pic. :) Wouldn't it be lovely if there really were that many pleos in your neighborhood for Sparky to play with.
