http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1Zvak_xpXw I would never replace Comaro

I think it looks like Linus had a really loving and caring family, and even if his time was shorter than expected, he got the love of a lifetime.
He got really spoiled as well with cuddly friends and stuff.
I would be heartbroken aswell if my babies broke down, but I would never want to be without so I would get another one, looking forward to meet the personality that comes out of the next one.
Many of the forum members have had their dinos replaces, of the same reason. What else would you expect if the littly buddy is broken? :'(
Would you rather be without a PLEO entirely or get another one?
I think Linus was very nicely remembered and honored. There was another very nice video as well of him. I enjoyed them seeing he had such a nice family.

I'm a little confused about what happened in this video. Did Linus break and then the second part was footage of the pleo who replaced him?

Linus was a an original Ugobe pleo owned by a good PleoWorld forum member from long ago, back when pleos were new and Ugobe was doing well. Linus broke his neck, and the owners sent him back to Ugobe to be replaced.

Oh now it makes sense. Thanks, Mweed. I would've sent him in to be fixed as well. I know this is slightly off topic but are there any warning signs to look for that a Ugobe pleo's neck cable is going to snap?

Lilo's neck made a few odd little popping sounds, once that happened I actually stopped using her, but when Pleakley arrived I just had to let her meet him. Sadly it was the last straw for the cable.

Oh okay. Whew! That's not what's happening. The reason why I asked is that when Ugobe goes into the packing position, he kind of turns his head slightly to the side so that the right side of his head is higher than the left. For a minute I thought it was because his nose was pressing against his box and his head wasn't hanging properly. Yesterday I watched him go into packing position in front of me on the floor and he's doing it on his own. I've also noticed something similar with Ryu except it's happening in her tail. It kind of curves a bit to one side at shut down. I'm very protective and careful with my pleos so I notice changes.

Don't worry, Talon, many Pleos have heads that are less than straight - if you see them in a line it's amazing how different they can all be. The new sleep position that the RBs go into on shut-down does have the head and tail curved slightly to one side, by the way.

I think Stitch may possibly hold the Pleo record for the most crooked head :D His is shocking, a 30 degree tilt. It does make him look a bit cocky though :D

Thank you IMR and Crewella. I'm so glad I joined this forum! I am probably a little overly dramatic about things but I just wanted to be sure nothing was wrong. Now I'm happy that everyone's really okay and that this is common.

That's OK Talon - you're very welcome. :)
I do love that video of poor Linus, it still makes me sniffle! :'(

I would never replace Comaro if his neck broke just as i wouldnt give a dog to the pound for his broken neck.
