... That there's a person behind all the posts you read.
It's sort of eerie when you think about it. Maybe they're just reading your posts and doing nothing else, but probably not. It's likely they're talking to someone, or eating something, or thinking about something --maybe they share your dreams--, or listening to music. Maybe they're mad at something and won't say. It's like another one of you, on the other side of the forum. Could you be sharing similar thoughts with them? Maybe they're experiencing something very interesting.
That's not just a post you're reading, it's a person.

And there are so many beautiful people sharing bits of themselves here on the forum :)

It IS easy to forget that on the web. I find it easier to remember on this forum, though, as I've been here for quite a while now, and there are some people on here I probably speak to more often than I do close friends! :D

Don't forget there is also a person behind every username that you see lurking and not posting :P and he's probably very angry..... hmm, also quite hungry..... aaargh, and he's just been spotted by the boss because he's at work and shouldn't be aimlessly surfing the internet.....

It isn't as easy to on here because it's a small forum, but it's funny because someone will change their avatar and I'm like "nooo! now I can't tell who's who!"

Degers has it all wrong. Nobody comes here "aimlessly surfing the internet". We're too much of a niche site. People do their aimless surfing once they get here and start reading topics like this one! ;) :D :P
And since we don't want people to leave the forums angry and hungry, the pizza and root beer is on me!!!!
