Hey guys.. I'm over thirty and I love Pokemon.. I know. I'm a loser.. ;D
Just wondering if anyone else did, I'd love to have another friend to battle/trade with, I've currently got Emerald, Platinum, Diamond, HeartGold & Black. Can't trade on black yet though because I haven't beaten it.. at least that's what it tells me when I try.. :P I've got a bunch of Shiny Pokemon and I'm always looking for more... I have all the starters if anyone needs any and I'm always around if someone needs help trading to evolve a Pokemon. Don't make funna me, it's just good 'brainless' fun.. :D :D

Hi Latrine, I don't play, do not have a Ninendo, though I am sure my kids have many times, I do have both the orange and Black Pokeman Trainer board games, but that is it, a few card sets, but they are for selling never paid much attention. I was more into Nintendo when it first came out, Pac Man, and Mario cause that is what I played, but I don't consider any of it loser, just good clean fun!
Enjoy and good luck, if I had any I would play with you. RWM

I play Pokemon on Wii via an emulator and have a Snorlax on my bookshelf and I'm 25 - my friends give me a lot of crap for that!!
I almost got a DS to play the new ones haha.
-
And it's far from brainless!! You have to strategize and build your main team in such a way as to crush your opponent!

Brings back memories of good ol' Pokemon Snap :P (Nintendo 64 game)
I tend to play wii games these days like Endless Ocean, so beautiful and relaxing :)

hehe.. all my nieces and nephews tell me I'm a weirdo for playing Pokemon when I'm a 'grownup' but they tell all their friends and everyone always crowds around me begging for pokemon.. I'm glad to see I'm not the only adult who plays :D
I'm usually either on my DS or my xbox 360, I'm playing 'Dragon Age' on the 360(trying to finish getting all the achievements.. ) and Pokemon Black on the DS right now. I still thank god they let me bring the 360 with me to the hospital or I would have gone nuts. One of the nurses actually brought her kids DS/ Pokemon game in so I could give him some shiny Pokemon because he didn't have any yet. lol. I was there SO long it was like I lived there and I became friends with quite a few of them.
I had a wii with quite a few games but I didn't use it very much as I was always recovering from surgery and that doesn't work very well with swinging my arms around and stuff, lol.. so we gave it to my boyfriends niece as she had no video games and we wanted to give her a really nice present for Christmas, apparently she and her mom really like it:) I haven't heard of endless ocean, whats that about?
And your right, bhobbes.. I had been playing against my little nephew for so long that when I played an actual fight I realized I had no Idea, really, what to do since I usually just crushed him to death with damage and the more adult players would be using all sorts of different moves so I've had to change my main team quite a bit so I can actually play against other people.. nothing is more fun, though, than playing against my nephew via wireless, utterly crushing all of his guys with one character, hearing all of his brothers and sisters giggling at him in the background because he was talking smack before the fight, and then giving him the guy I killed him with ;) :D
If anyone ever wants to play, send me a pm :D
Pirpintine, I figured you would play for sure.. is meowth your favorite, from the cartoon? :D

Endless Ocean is pretty much what it sounds like, you swim around in a (comparatively) endless ocean with 400+ species of creatures to find. The 'ocean' you get to explore is very large, the first game is set around a mythical sea which includes reefs, ship graveyard, ghost ship, underwater ruins, open sandy areas, rock formations and underwater caves to name a few places. The second game takes on more of a worldly flavor which takes you to various places around the globe to dive, it also has over 400 species of creatures to find, underwater ruins, temples, ice caves, reefs, deep sea trenches and so on.
So basically you swim around finding fish and treasure with a backdrop of stunning underwater scenery.

I may have to try that game IMR, sounds relaxing.
I don't play many Wii games and use it largely in place of having my NES, SNES, 64, and Sega all hooked up lol.
Plus I suck at all the new Marios - which is sad because I'm a pro with the older ones - and Wario!!
-
I used to be good at mario too, but the new ones are so different! Fun but I die at least once per level it seems. And good ol' Sonic the Hedgehog :)
Endless Ocean and Endless Ocean 2 are by far my most played games ever. I've racked up 300+ odd hours between them. Still haven't found all the fish though :o

Haha! i do love meowth! hes awesome!
Though my fave pokemon (in game and on TV!) are totodile, garbodor, magneton, honchkrow, any and all moth pokemon - though i think design-wise mothim wins.... actually this list could go on forever! :S hahahaha

I just got a Zorua egg from a friend and I can't wait for it to hatch... My favorite ds character is my shiny Arceus.. he's sooo cool :)
we should trade or battle sometime, pirpintine!
and that game sounds really nice and very calming, IMR.. sounds like my kinda thing too, with collecting things and what.. very neat!

Thumbs up, IMR! I think EO2 is the only video game I could ever truthfully call 'beautiful.'
