Try a damp warm wash cloth, wrung out of course,. For skin care Pledge is what they reccomend for Pleo Rb. so same for Regular Pleos. As for the chin beard type look under the chin, that is kind of hard to not happen try patting his chin instead of rubbing or a little softer, it is kind of hard to avoid though... :D

I though you were talking about a 'cleaning dude,' like a hired cleaner or something :P

I do not recommend Pledge on the original Pleo's, Lilo suffered some detrimental effects from the stuff.
Just stick to a warm damp cloth.

This is my take on it:

interesting thread, thanks.
i use lexol leather product wipes on my couch and have been pelased so i will look for their vinyl product too.

The products have cleaned Iggy and Budge up nicely, but also made the surface silkier so they don't get 5 o'clock shadow any more! :D

Glad to know not to use Pledge on Original Pleos, I never did till a few months ago, but havent; noticed any problems but I use it mostly on Baby, my RB. I allways used just a warm damp cloth before that.

i used an alcohol free non scented baby wipe just at the chin area and it seemed to work fine.
wish i could use the wonderful 'mr. clean magic eraser sponge'! as a mom to a little kid i count on those for EVERYTHING but not for pleo i know!

I use the wipes as well, I use the aloe ones to help keep the skin softer as my one ugobe's clear coat is ripping and I've noticed it's lessened since using the aloe wipes.
I won't use the pledge on any of them, just seems to take off color every time and scares me.
