Title: How long can Pleo last?
Post by: leongaj on May 30, 2011, 07:51:37 AM
Hi, I'm new to the forum and considering to get this cute little Pleo.  I would like to know how long can Pleo last?  Can it last for 3 to 5 years?  Who has the oldest Pleo in this forum?

Hello and welcome!  :D

I can only vouch for a couple of years, but I'm sure there are others on here that have had their Pleo longer!  :)

I think that Grouchy and or Fancy have both been here since the beginning, so I would say at least three years now, but I am sure someone else out here should answer that. I have Pleos that are used that are at least two years old and ones that are the First Edition Gold Hatch, but they were taken very good conditon of, which could make a difference in how well they last. I have Pleos that were not taken as well care of, and ther skin began falling apart. I also think the newer Pleo Rb may last even longer since there has been more research on them and hopefully they are made to last longer. It will be intersting to see just how old some of the forum members here Pleos are and also what conditon they are.
So for me, I have a Gold Hatch ( only 2, 000 Pleos made when Pleo first came out,) I think this was for Chriistmas 2007? Perhaps Grouchy or someone else can verify that this is the release date, at least for the Gold Hatch Edition Pleos. Myne is in Very Good condiiton with virtually no wear to his skin and his paint is in Excellent conditon. Good Question that I am sure a lot of us have thought about. %) :)             RedwoodsMama

Lilo is almost 3, she has a broken neck but aside from she is in excellent condition. Stitch is 2 1/2 and he is just fine. They get used a lot too, they haven't been packed away in storage.

Thank you so much for the valuable information.  I think I will get pleo real soon.  Gemmidigi only sells pink and blue color and they provide free delivery in Hong Kong. I plan to get from Pleoworld since I like the green RB even though I stay in Hong Kong.

Yeah, I just ordered one from Pleoworld.  I hope I won't regret about this.  After reading about the feedback from others about Gemmidigi, I guess ordering from Pleoworld is a better option.

Now, I just have to wait patiently.  Hopefully, I can receive my Pleo RB by this Friday.

You're going to have a lot of fun! I love my two pleos and I'm looking to buy at least two more before I'm done.

I had put the order about two days ago.  But I haven't get any tracking number yet.  How long does Pleoworld normally take to ship a Pleo?

If you live in Hong Kong then the chances are neutral that you might find them in stores. But, since RB's are mostly manufactured in China you should have got them in 2 days time.
