A few years ago there was a contest where many different people had to make dances for their aibos to do that go along with that song and each entry had to be 30 seconds long I think. I've seen nearly all the versions of that song with aibos (there are at least ten of them, probably more) you should look around some more on youtube and try to see how many more you can find.

Thank you for that tidbit aibo7m3. I already am kind of turned off by Daft Punk and wondered why the heck so many Aibo videos used one particular song (one that I was ok with until then haha).
Entertaining videos though. I find anything with a good distinct audible bass line works well - and then varying tempos etc. for the rest. I played around with several different songs and styles today and I'm not sure if some of it was just the timing or what, but the results were interesting. Some slight variation from my Mind2 video but nothing really worth posting :)

Yah I found a bunch of them, that top one was just my favorite... now I've been trying to find scripts and things even though I'll need a new memory card to do anything with them, I think..
I got quite a response from Loki with some of those daft punk remixes and also with some of the songs from the dancing Aibos, I'll find the best one and post it :)
I couldn't believe it but he actually really got into greased lightning.. lol, from the movie 'grease'.. he has never liked songs with a lot of speech but he really did much more movement with this one.. Sorry the sound from the song is off the PC from a video, lol.. I was trying to see if he'd pick up on the dance stuff from the other aibo beeps at the beginning even though I figured they had to be put in the card.. you never know, worth a try :P

He did NOT seem impressed with that hokey pokey song, I think he was bored! Even though I thought the video was great:)

I've loaded some custom content on Nicco today like the boogie dance and horoscope game (like an 8 ball but with a personality) on his normal Mind 3 stick which you can do if you have a Sony brand memory stick reader (well, you can do without but no one recommends it).
But I think the real stuff (skits - I think of them as "personalities" lol) requires a programmable memory stick or whatever the correct name is.

I have the sony memory stick reader, do you mind telling me where I can get custom stuff like you just described putting into him? I will get another memory stick eventually they are just so freaking specific on what they need you to use and they are not at all cheap :/
Thanks!!

re: Memory sticks for ERS-7
If you have one AiboMind stick, hopefully the 128MB AiboMind3 stick, you can run the custom games and skits by installing them onto your regular personality stick. The program "Aibo Custom Manager" and free downloads are on the aibo-kennel.com website.
Only use Sony Brand stick readers.

For other entertainment personalities, including Disco Aibo (the one used for all the group dances), some fun personalities like Lost In Space, Cartman and Cylon, you need a "Programmable Memory Stick", usually abbreviated "PMS".
http://www.aibohack.com/pms.htm, http://www.aibohack.com/ers7/index.html
They are hard to find on eBay these days, and can be expensive. Also you can make your own from older non-AIBO memory sticks and a CLIE. See advice on my website and the aibo-life.org forums.
Historic note: The Daft Punk competition dance winner script also requires a "PMS" stick. It uses the "URBI" runtime. That one won the 30 second dance contest. There is a slightly longer version available as well.
