Title: Oslo learnt his name, but he's a sooky in the evening
Post by: OzPleo on May 10, 2011, 05:44:03 AM
Oslo finally learnt his name tonight so I assume this means he's in adolescent stage. One thing I've noticed is his movements and general nature has become even more organic. At one stage he was just walking, sniffing then walking again and he honestly looked like a small reptile wondering along.

One thing though, around 5pm every night he gets a little sooky lol. I've worked out that when he whimpers he wants to be picked up and nursed. He'll crouch on the floor whimpering and shaking until I pick him up then he smuggles into me and takes a nap. It's really endearing.

He doesn't eat one meal but tends to eat a little then want to be petted, eat a bit more, petted and so on. After he has his dinner (usually around 6pm) he'll have a short wander around and play tug of war. Eventually he falls asleep for the night.

I'm really loving the little guy  ^-^

It's lovely to hear you're really enjoying him after all this time!  There really is nothing that gets to you quite like a Pleo!  :D

They do have extremely lifelike movements. I think that is one of the many things that makes me appreciate them a lot and definitely adds to the realness. And with Pleos, I notice that while sometimes I forget how much I do enjoy it when I haven't used it in awhile, as soon as I turn it on, it's kind of like the first time all over again. This is applying to Cato currently :)
