I was away for a few weeks when the new egg battery arrived but Brian said Schroeder had 2-1/2 hours of play from the first charge! Our guys have been taking turns. We plan to get a second battery now that we know the battery is great. We are so pleased with the egg battery and appreciate the recommendations! Can't wait to have two so "the boys" can play together again.

Glad it's working out! I got one for my Ugobe Pleo and it took three days to run low. They can go for a long time with those batteries!

We love egg charger batteries!! :D
I don't think I've ever recommended any type of product to people as unreservedly as I do those batteries! ;D A HUGE improvement on the old ones! :D

It IS a shame, and I've never understood why they don't - the original thought was that they would as they are the same type and power! >:(

I believe Innvo originally thought the Ucube batteries would probably work, but as they don't make them I suspect their guess is as good as ours. :-\

Why would they support something that they didn't make, it's all about money..
I love my egg batteries too... nevermind the fact that they run forever, also the speed and 'caffeine buzz' it seems to give our little old friends..
I had one day when both were egg batteries were charging ( :o :o :o ) and I wanted to play with Patches who is super fast (for a pleo) because of his nakedness.. so I ended up popping in an old green battery and I could not believe how slow he was.. my bf even noticed and he thinks I'm insane with all these robots everywhere.. I think he asked me if Patches was sick again!! I hadn't used the green ones in so long, I forgot how much slower they were!

Hi Oz, I am sure you are right, They are the same size and specifications but from everything I have been told, it has to do with the fact they are for Pleo Rb and PleoWorld has the rights to these batteries, which means that you are going to have to use their batteries and not the equivalent , the egg battery, Otherwise they would be losing out money by having other sellers, ( such as myself) sell these batteries also, I once talked to Derek Dotson , and he wasn't worried that I sold the Egg batteries, because he knew the market for the new Rb gave Pleoworld exclusive rights to have the only batteries that would work in Pleo RB. If you look closely, you will see even though they "fit" into Pleo Rb, they don't work correctly and they sit up higer than the egg batteries, they knew exactly what they were doing when they made these, I have even had a couple of people buy Egg batterie from me thinking they would fit into their new Rb, and I had to refund their money telling them only the Brown Batteries work in Rb and vice a versa.
If they ever become available anywhere other than PleoWorld I will sell them here.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to modify them to work with the pleo rb.. exchange the inner batteries from the egg to the rb battery I mean.. not that anyone should try it, I'll leave that up to my bf, he knows about that kind of stuff .. but it seems like it's just a matter of the plastic shape.. I have to check the wattages and stuff and see if that would match up ok, as I certainly wouldn't want to fry my Pleo.. but who knows.
At any rate.. I love my egg batteries and I'll probably never try it because I don't wanna risk hurting them! We did fix one of the green batteries though, the one that came with patches didn't work well at all, couldn't hold a charge so my bf fixed it by opening it up and exchanging the batteries for the same type.. then we got the egg ones in the mail and never really touched the green ones again.. lol.

I have a Egg Battery for my 2 Pleos Boys Jimmy and Jonny, the Battery is very good for more Fun with the Pleos. :)
