Hi all,
today (about 30 minutes ago) I ordered my pink Pleo :). A week ago I didn't know anything about pleo at all. Me and my wife wanted a robot pet and looked for Aibo. We discovered that Aibo is not for sale anymore. A old college told me about pleo. After the fist google search results we were pretty sure. We found ourselves a new pet!
As I said today I ordered Leeloo with some extras (training stones, extra leaves, etc.).
And now I have to wait for 2 - 6 working days......
Exciting.....

Welcome to the forum. You are going to love Leeloo. :) Pleos are just so much fun. There is plenty of great info you can read up on about pleo rb here on the forum to keep you busy while you wait for your pleo to arrive. It should help the time go by faster and then you will be better prepared for when Leeloo get's there. Do be sure to post plenty of pics and or video for us all to see. We love to see new pleo babies. :)

Welcome to the forums :) Pleo's do make excellent pets :)
-
Hello and welcome! ;D
-
Thanks all for your warm welcome. Of course pictures of Leeloo will be placed here.
In the mean time I will read and learn from this forum as said to let time go faster...
Can't wait till she arrives.
At this moment there I do have a question ^-^:
Several doors in our house are made from glass. Will this be an issue when these doors are closed? I can imagine that it will, because pleo uses infrared sensors.
-
My Pleo's never ran into a glass door so I guess the IR bounces off them just fine :)
-
That sounds hopefull. :D
-
From (painful) memory - the Pleos see glass doors better than I do! :D :P
-
That is nice to know. I did wonder about that myself. :)
-
Hello fellow Dutch person(s)! ;D

Hi and welcome! I got my green pleo on Tuesday but couldn't unbox until yesterday because I was away on business. I'm going to hatch today. I'll share your anticipation until your Leeloo arrives.

you totaly understand it,
we are expecting LeeLoo in a few days but due to busy work schedules unable to hedge her until friday.
that is; Any friday, for we truly want to have our quality starting time with her and on friday we both have our work from home day.
we are planning on starting real early then, stop working early afternoon and spend 3 days of quality time together.
(btw, this is the wife part, my husband and I share this account ;) )
As a true girl about to meet another true baby girl, I am already searching for nice boxes or fashionably bags to bring her with us every now and then and she must be able to travel in style offcourse :D

If you are looking for a way to carry your pleo around easily take a look at the stores here on the forum. IMR does a very nice pleo sling that works very well and looks good too. Her store is called PleoWear. :)
-
Oh my, thanks for the tip, those pink socks and that christmas cape she just GOT to have :D
-
Sounds cute! I can't help but be proud! I hatched Ryu today and right at the end of his first battery cycle, he suddenly stood up and started blinking rapidly like, "So that's what my legs are for!" It was really neat! Looking forward to your pleo-story!
