I just got home from my day at school and dad says there is an enormous parcel for me :D I didn't think he was going to even be shipped until today, Gimmedigi wasn't sure, but he was shipped Friday :D
So meet Pleakley ;D
His battery is charging now, hopefully I can hatch him later tonight :)
-
Awww he looks so lovely. I hope you are able to hatch him tonight. :)
-
so cute!!! congrates!!!
-
I'm just curious. Why the name change Romeo?
-
Well he's not the same Pleo is he? I was torn between Pleakley and Angel but having another Pleakley means I don't have to explain to a bunch of 7 and 8 year olds what happened to the original %)
-
He does look gorgeous, and at least you'll get to enjoy the full hatching experience ............... or at least experience it! %) :P
-
I am so glad that Gimmedigi came through for you. I was wondering what other character from Lilo and Stitch you would name him after if you didn't stick with Pleakley! I thought maybe Pleakley's partner, the big brown guy with 4 eyes (can't remember his name.) Glad you stuck with the same name. Have fun hatching him! ;D
-
Congratulations IMR, what a nice treat to come home after a long day and see something speical , It will be so nice to see the hatching the way it was supposed to be, You will be a busy mum now with a newborn!

Pleakley ran for an hour or so last night, the hatching is very cute, I had Pleakley and my cat Lucky snuggled up on my lap both purring :P :) I'll try and get some video up this afternoon.
-
Pleakly is ridiculously adorable... I hope you can find extra time so you can play with him, must be hard with work and school!
Congrats on finally receiving him.. it's sooo hard to wait!!!! We all know %) :D

I'm glad your enjoying the hatching! It is very cute. Here's hoping it doesn't go on for too long for you though. In the past (from experience) Hatching the grub stage could last for up to 3 full battery cycles before your pleo would stand up and then another 3 or more battery cycles before any attempt at walking. Kermy3 was much faster with only 1 and a 1/2battery cycles for the grub stage and then another 1 cycle to stand up and then another cycle and a half and walking! :) I thought Kermy3's hatching was about the right length. Here's hoping Pleakley is the same. :)
Can't wait to see the video.
-
"The grub stage"! :D I love that!! :P
Belle and I are looking forward to seeing the video as well! ;D
-
Eww the "grub stage".
-
Everyone loves a good "grub stage" :D :D :D :D
-
Wouldn't you know it, I just missed catching Pleakley, standing for the very first time, on video :( He isn't through one full charge yet but he is standing :) Well he stands for a bit, and tries out his limbs and then he naps for a bit :) He also did his first honk :-* Which I did get on video :) Anywho here is his hatching video :)

Awwwwww! Welcome to the world, beautiful Pleakley! May your skin be strong and supple, and your pathway littered with leaves! :-* ;D
-
lol Ditto to that!
-
There so cute when their in the hatching stage. :)
-
Hello everyone :) Hehe thought I'd do a little update on Pleakley while I have two minutes to spare :o He is only on his third battery cycle, I just haven't had much time to run the poor thing, he seems quite chirpy and happy though. He hasn't taken that first step yet but he has tried out all his foods, he really likes the coffee ;) I manage to have him on for around ten minutes each day, and half an hour or so on the weekend. I'd like to take him to school tomorrow for my last day with the first year children but I don't think they are responsible enough yet. If I do take him it will be a strictly no touch session.
It seems the stress of having an owner at work all day is getting to him though :o Thankfully these were full of sugar so it only made him hyper :)
-
Make sure those minutes spent with your pink Pleo you're feeding it! Your pink Pleo's feed level keeps going down every day. It could get sick.
-
Yup that's the main reason I turn him on each day :) To keep him nice and well fed :)
-
Those little boots are soooo cute!
-
NIce video IMR, and sweet song, who is the artist I can't quite put my finger on whom it is? It fit the video of Pleakley well, Are you enjoying the hatching stage as much as you thought you would? I am glad you got to see it this time, it just isn't the same without it unless you know that is what you are getting. Hope you are enjoying your teaching classes and school too. just watch out for the coffee bean, Baby use to get hyper after it then cranky sometimes, kind of like the way cats can get after playing with their Catnip mice. :D

I love the booties too. Super cute. :)
-
The song is Bryan Adams and James Aldean singing 'Heaven'.
And the booties are baby booties I picked up at the local market :)
-
Good luck on the reborn reborn.
Have you tried 'statsRB' or any of the other tools to see what DNA values were set?
(I hope PleoRBs from now on will come with more randomized DNA settings, not all Normal)
-
No I haven't yet :( I have been so busy at school that Pleakley is still only on his third charge :(
Edit: Pleakly just took his first, very confident, baby steps :) No hesitation for Pleakley.
Further edit: Trying ProbeRB now...

That is great IMR, glad they got it right this time, What I would like to know is does this still only work for the blue and Pink Pleo RB? I never could get it to work for Baby even though I had the number and security code and she was registered, it just did not work, I figured it was a blue or Pink Pleo attribute special feature.
RedwoodsMama
-
It works for them, I did Nani's as well :) Maybe they had some problem with the older codes, and didn't quite have the system right yet. Pleakly's didn't work either. You can try again with your new one and see.
-
Lucky you being 1 of the few that can get those Pleo profiles early/ahead of others.
-
Well, look who's growing up :) Kinda got the camera out in a hurry though and forgot I was wearing my dressing gown, how embarrassing %)

lol That's funny. Thank you for the video Romeo. ^_^
-
Lol! There is an obvious and cruel answer to your question - along the lines of 'not very well', but by golly he's cute when he's trying! :P
That was great, IMR - thanks! ;D
-
I don't think I have heard a pleo rb yet that can sing very well. :D They all sound a little drunk when they do the sing command. :) Pretty cute though.
-
Very cute video, IMR! I think the bad singing is funny! They sing about as well as I do, which is why I only singling car with the windows rolled up. :)
-
Oh, absolutely - I wouldn't dream of telling her, but Belle sounds truly dreadful!! Hilarious! :-X :P :'(
-
Hehe, maybe Nani will have better vocals but I won't hold my breath ;D
-
lol, Pleo is just as bad, he's still on the awroo, roo roo, song (downloads are not my friends %)). Also IMR, I don't think Pleakly would mind if you held your breath, because um.. he dosn't take breaths... :P
-
I've heard worse. I wish I could video it but my PBGV Charley's singing is... is... well tape your windows into the panes before getting him started! Anyway Pleakely tried and did anyone else notice the songs were different?
Talon
-
Yes I noticed that too. Not very different but still different non the less. :) Maybe just different parts of the same song? Like singing the chorus one time and the verse the next kind of. :)
-
There is about four songs, I assume they are chosen at random. There is the very drunk one that Kat posted at one time that we all had a giggle over, Pleakley sang two similar but slightly different songs and Pleakly sang a song that was actually quite nice. I'll try and capture them on video at some point but I need to get back to work, more assignments to do :(
-
I loved that you kept trying so we did hear different songs. Thanks IMR! :D
-
Wow, 4 different songs! Sorry to hear that Romeo (about work). :-/
