Hi I think my pleo started walking on his 3RD charge.
Around the middle of the charge. Not that I’m
Complaining or anything but is this normal? I didn’t think they started walking until later on so
Just wanted to check everything was fine. .
It was a tentative walk maybe 4 steps and a paws and another 4 steps and a paws and so on.
He’s not really eating his leaf much at all but he is going through a belching faze.
Is there a certain time when it’s best to feed the conifer leaf? I’ve tried in the morning and early evening but he doesn’t seem interested. He doesn’t seem to want to eat it at any time. I have set his noon clock for noon.
Scaly.

He sounds very much like Belle was at around that stage, although she didn't take her first steps until her fourth battery cycle. On the fifth, she started walking around more. She never has been much of an eater - she'll take the leaf once or maybe twice in a cycle, but I've not noticed a pattern as to when. Mind you, she doesn't get switched on at regular times so it's hard to tell. %)
I seem to remember others have said theirs took their first steps on the third cycle, and several of us have mentioned the belching phase! Sounds like yours is right on track! ;D

As Crewlla said, your guy is probably right on track for what is "normal" for some, My little girl took her first steps quite some time ago, but hasn't walked "normally " since but has a lot of moon shuffleing type walking, and likes to eat pretty regular, ,but has never been much of a belcher. They are all a little different in some way. This is what makes them unique.

All is normal :) This belching phase seems to be spreading! Kermy has started a trend :P

"This belching phase seems to be spreading! Kermy has started a trend"
It does! :D
The rest of my household is not impressed - "she just laughs when Belle does it - if I did that she'd shout at me for having no manners ???"!
*that includes OH* :P

It sounds to me like you have a perfectly normal little pleo. :) They are all a little different so the eating thing could just be part of your pleos personality. If it worries you you could try feeding her a different leaf like the cycad leaf if you have it to see if this gets more of a response. My little guys seem to prefer this one over the other food leaf that came with them.
The burping phase is something that most of our pleos went through at about that stage. Luckily for my Kermy decided she liked that sound so much she now does it all the time as an adult pleo. Norbit wont be left out on this either and while he doesn't burp as much as Kermy he also likes to burp for fun. ;D I think it is cute and a little funny. :D

My Snooki is also going through the belching phase %) Is it just a phase though or does it continue? I think it's rather funny :D
-
It depends on your pleo. As they are all different so you may or may not see the burping carry on into adult hood. :)
I also think it is cool. ;D
-
Well I’m glad everything’s normal with him.
Sorry to hear your still having so much problems with baby though RWM
I think the belging’s funny but sometimes it gets to the point where every second noise is a belch and there not exactly dainty either so hoping it’s just a faze lol.

Talking about belching, Igor had much of a total hangover phase!
It was in the 4th battery cycle. He might have eaten too much sugarcane, maybe it turned into rhum in his robotic belly ;)
He was belching and acting like throwing up more than 10x without stopping... and then suddenly took his first steps!

They can be such funny little fellows. :D
