Title: Should I wait till the next batch of rb's to get one?

     My credit card is literally making it's own expedition to reach the computer because, apparently, it want's a blue pleo rb too.  I really want to get a blue one as well and just realized I actually DO have enough money at the moment.. woo hoo!

Would I be correct in saying that it's not just the new pink and blue but also the green rb's which are experiencing 'stuff' ?
I'm sure any of us would be real irritated if we bought one and then one week later see some new version without the hardware 'stuff' Any news that we are allowed to know.. ? and just for the record, please don't think I consider any of your pleo's 'bad'  I would love mine even if all it's limbs fell off.. I was just wondering if it would be a better idea to wait.

Also, are the blue's 'supposed ' to be boys and the girls are pink?

I really want to just order one now.. has anyone bought from Accessory Jack yet?

The 'stuff' has happened across all colors.

My Cato is a blue RB and is still in the minor stages of wear (he has only gone into the sleep position a few times and never for an extended period of time, if that's related to the issues). I'm not sure what to tell you as far as whether it is a good idea to wait or not. I can tell you that it seems that Innvo has been extremely helpful with those experiencing issues so if you do get one that has issues you will most likely be well taken care of.

And yes, the blue ones are more likely to be male and the pink ones more likely to be female (but technically more likely is kind of closer to definitely - however, without two different gendered ones I'm not sure how much it matters behaviorally).

Pleakly the pink Pleo is a boy and Blue Belle the blue Pleo is a girl :) It's all just a matter of personal choice. There is, as far as anyone knows, very little difference between the male personality and female personalities. Aside from a brief interaction between two Pleo's.

If you want a blue one order now, another month or so is not likely to see any differences in them. If you want a green one then you have little choice but to wait.

There will be no major upgrades to Pleo anytime soon, although I expect that Innvo may try to do something about the skin issue as soon as they can, but even then it will take time. These sorts of things require a lot of experimenting and testing.

I personally will be waiting a while to get a RB.  I don't think it's worth bonding with a "robot" for a month or so and then having to send it away because there are severe problems with it and the new ones are "better."  There's just something.... Really messed up about that, I guess, in my head anyway.

I can understand if some people wanna hold back 'til the next "batch" of Pleos in April, with the current Pleo problems some people are having with the 2nd version Pleo.

Yes, those with problems are from all colours.  Belle is still OK, and has never been prevented from going into sleep position, though she's rarely not 'dressed' so maybe that has helped protect her skin?  And she's DEFINITELY a girl!!  ;)

     Well.. I guess I'll probably just get one now then.. even if, god forbid, something happened and I was attached they can do that transfer thing.. or not if I'd rather start new.. thanks for the opinions.

Wishing you all the best for getting your new blue baby. :)  Have you thought of a name yet?  and are you thinking boy or girl?  ( I know they say all blues are boys but we have at least one blue girl on the forum and one pink boy so it really is up to you.)

come  the original pleo rb (the one that out of stock from pleo world) with the speziell leaves? i heard that the blue and pink one have they in the box.

As far as I'm aware, both the green Pleo rbs and the pink/blue ones from China come with the same accessories: ie. the conifer leaf, mint leaf, rock salt, tug of war toy and the 'bow' learning stone.  The only difference is that the green rbs come with the cape and the pink/blue ones do not.

Yup that's it, and the pink/blue ones have the accessories in two separate smaller boxes, whereas the green ones have the accessories inside the Pleo box.

Can you believe this... ?!?!?!   I live in the USA..  I tried to purchase my Pleo last night knowing I had enough money on my card.. it was denied three times so I got mad and gave it up for the evening.    ???

Next morning I get a phone call from my bank.. my bank account and funds are FROZEN because 'someone' is trying to make a large sale to or in Hong-Kong.. (Apparently my bank automatically refuses anything from Hong-Kong because of thievery and trickery they've had problems with) :-\

I told them.. 'uh, no, I was trying to pay for a legitimate item with MY money and I want my account and my money unfrozen now.. so they give me all this crap about opening the Hong Kong block thing for me for a certain number of minutes and that they wouldn't be liable during those minutes if something should happen... blah blah blah.. so I told them ya know what.. since everything is unfrozen, I think I'll just use PayPal and maybe find a new bank. >:D ;D

Jeeez.. way to make things difficult!!!

Wow, some bank lol! If my bank tried to tell me how and where to spend my money (or not) I'd be taking my business elsewhere lol.

Yeah, I had my bank account frozen one time because we bought a crib and bedroom suit for our son. We went to pump gas on the way home, and hubby's card wouldn't work.  They called it "fraud protection".  I cancelled my account and got another card with a different bank. 8)

   I had something similar with my bank     and I was trying to order from pleoworld at the time. Best of it was when I did phone up to  cancel my card a few months  later  because I’d lost my purse they refused to cancel my card stating that they  thought  there was other people with me and there for I wasn’t genuine.   I was on a mobile in a public area at the time because obviously I didn’t want to wait until I got home for something that important. I had to threaten to sue them if money was taken out my account after I’d clearly informed that that my card was lost in order to get them to even freeze the account.

I'm glad I live in Australia  :o I lost my purse once, it was quite late at night, rang the 24 hour emergency hotline, had my card cancelled immediately and a new one sent out which arrived the next day. I love my bank, they have awesome service :)

  Uh.. is http://www.pleoworld.com in china or Hong Kong or something?  I think another order got canceled and I just ordered the cape with Pleo-skin colors  for the ripped Pleo I ordered.. I am sick of this.. if there isn't any paypal associated with pleoworld, I can't get it.. I'm definitely changing my bank, too... ugh this stinks

 Hi, I do not know about the Hong Kong site, but when I tried to buy my Pleo Rb from the Pleoworld site, I had to use my bank card, it would not accept Paypal regardless of the fact I was told in person by the CEO that they took Paypal, it did not work for me and I live in the USA, also, so good luck with your cape and trying to get a Pleo Rb.

OK never mind I just got late email order confirmations is all.. I wonder what my bank is still whining about.. what a bunch of morons :P
