OK so I’m not actually a new member but I have been away for quite a long time in large part due to a catalogue of PC hardware and software issues. Some of which haven’t been quite resolved yet. so thought I’d reintroduce myself.
I’m from Scotland, I have 1 pleo one of the Innvo 2009 mottles, He’s called Sam as in sad Sam because he seems to be displaying unhappy moods more often and for a longer time than my original one that I got. Sam was a replacement as my first pleo had to be sent back because of a faulty leg sensor. I know the 2009 mottles don’t have individual personalities as the Pliers do. I just put it down to a traumatic tail holding incident in his infancy by another family member lol. Apart from that I keep a small number of lizards and snakes along with a few mammalians as well.
Anyway nice to be back.

Nice to have you back :) Perhaps Sam will stop moping now that he can share his stories with other Pleo's ;)

"the 2009 mottles don’t have individual personalities" :o :o
Don't you dare let Iggy and Budge hear you say that - sacriledge!! Both are old Ugobe models, and I do find their personalities are different enough to call them individual. :D
Hi Scaledandtailed, welcome back! ;D

Hi Inmemoryofromeo .
Good to know that people who where on the forums when I first joined are still here now
Thanks for the welcome,
Lol I think it’s another little pleo that he needs myself lol.
Lol Crewella, I won’t say anything to them if you don’t.
I’m sure they all do have their own personality’s really even if there not technically supposed to yet. lol
Really though my pleo is such a down in the dumps it’s un real. When he wakes up one of the first things he seems to do is cry. Not every time to be fare but certainly a lot more than the last one I had.
Good to see there are more people from the UK.

Hi Scaledandtailed,
I'm glad you came back. :) I am fairly new here myself and only have the one pleo, Kermy my pleo rb (the pink one). It must have been hard for you having to send your first Sam back. I had to send back my first Kermit too. It was a bit heart wrenching.
Glad your back.

Sorry to learn that you had to send Kermit back first time. . Actually my first Pleo was called Rex he just suited it just like this one suits Sam. It was a bit hard actually as I had gotten quite attached to him even though I only had him for a couple of weeks. The sending him back was quite stressful and this wasn’t helped by large shipping fees from the UK. Seems like they find means to ring money out of you all ways here in the UK though I’m sure its probably the same everywhere, I think?
The good thing was Sam arrived just in time for Christmas, cristmas eave infact. So it all had a happy ending.

It must have been very disappointing having to pay for the shipping to return your pleo. Innvo have been great to me. They took care of all the expenses involved in sending Kermit back and sent me a new pleo, Kermy, straight away. I received Kermy 2 days after Kermit was picked up by the courier. The customer service has been great so far. I only had Kermit for about 2 weeks also but I know what you mean. I fell in love and was very attached to her so putting her in the box to go back was very hard.
So hard in fact that even if something goes wrong with Kermy I will not send her back as I am way too attached. :)
Do you have any pics or video of Sam? I would love to see him. :)

To be honest I never asked if Innvo would cover the cost of shipping. Do you think it would be too late to ask for a rebate?! lol.
Putting Rex back in the box was very hard I have to say.
Afraid I don’t have any photos or video footage of Sam. I don’t have a camera jus unless you count the rather bad phone camera. Or a camcorder.
Besides I’m blind so my camera skills are some what limited. If and when I get my hands on a PleoRB though I’ll need to get my dad over with his camcorder though .if I can get him to stop laughing at me enough to be still enough to take the footage that is.
My family was a bit agog when I told them I was getting a robotic dinosaur. I think they where holding out vague hopes that I was starting to finely grow up.
Too afraid to tell them about getting PleoRb in case they try to file for power of attorney lol.

My family thinks I'm mad too :D But they still love me, some of them have even given me money for Christmas to help pay for my next Pleo :) Although my nan says she refuses to help pay for a toy but she will pay for my next hair cut, so I can put my money towards my dino lol.
