I'd always wanted one of the original Aibo types, so when a black ERS-111 came up on Ebay a few weeks back I couldn't resist him. He's spent the last few years shut away in his box, but with some help from the Aibo forums I've finally got his batteries charged up and Ubu's now rampaging round the house - he's a lot more of a handful than Wilma! All I have to do now is introduce him properly to Wilma, and then to Iggy and Budge and the rest of the crew. :D

Very handsome fellow, Wilma looks like she is Smitten already! Can't wait to see a video like fancy said, :) Did he cost very much compared to the rest of the Aibos?
I am not real up to date on the cost of Aibos, just Pleos!

The thought of chasing the whole crew at once with a camera is a little scary, but I will give it a go sometime. I'll have to clear some space! :D
Ubu cost about £200 ($300), which I thought was a bit of a bargain, though the ERS-111s are among the less expensive models - the ERS-11x were the first of the Aibos. I took a chance on him, as he'd been packed away in his box for years and there were few pics and very little information other than "batteries dead, but it does run". Thankfully, with help from some lovely people on the Aibo forums, the batteries have been resurrected! ;D ;D
