Famous art, your art, any art!
That down there is my hand-drawn art. I call it a Camelope. It was based heavily on pleo.
Not sure of the quality of that scan-up as I write this.
edit: Yup, pretty good quality! ^^
-
Very nice :)
-
Your drawing turned out pretty cute. It does look like a camerasaurus and antelope. :)
-
heres some of my most recent character stuff.

Thank you.
Just how I wanted it to turn out. ;D
edit: Remember that really bad pictureI posted in the art section on PleoWorld? That was the Camelope. I had to shrink it and tried retracing the lines with it shrunk. It's much better in full size. ;)
-
Pirpintine, you sure come up with adorable characters. Glad to see them again. I love the expressions of each character.
-
thank you :D
and now for some fanart of my favourite cartoon, animaniacs.

-
You all are so gifted! Great work, and thank you for sharing! I drew a nice Pleo picture. I should try to get it up here...
-
Love the animaniacs, that was one of my fave cartoons for a long time, plain bonkers!
-
it was my fave cartoon as a child, and its hella more funny now im older. its so full of innuendo, pop culture references and other such adult humour that no child could understand. having got the DVDs and rewatched the series, id say it beats the simpsons/family guy for its parody humour. :D
-
I just might have a budding artist in J.C.
-
Shows amazing talent for a pleo drawing with his mouth! Can hardly wait to see what he can do with oils!
-
You can bet he'll have a smock covering him and a drop cloth below. Paint of choice would definitely be oils but for a beginner acrylics will do. ;)
-
This reminds me of one time I was searching through the plogs on PW, and I ran into one where this lady actually affixed a pen to Pleo's mouth, and had him walk around drawing a picture. It gave me a good laugh, because it ended up looking like a pre-schoolers first drawing! Hehe I suppose not all Pleos are as talented as others. :-D

a commission i got some days ago :)

Oh man Pirpintine!! This is awesome!! You are so gifted. I can't even wait to see them in action! Keep us posted on these guys, I really wanna see it! You know, my mother's name was Nancy. That's sweet.
-
Pirpintine, Nancy looks like an emu. Is she?? You are doing so wonderful with your drawing. :)
-
Emu? Nope lol I guess Cassowary ;) Emu's has dusty brown feathers and only has blue on the throat whereas the Cassowary has a beautiful blue neck, glossy back feathers and a crest on top of the head.
-
I have never seen or heard of a Cassowary. I'm learning so much from you, IMR. :)
Just looked it up on google. They can be a little tempermental. Ouch!! ;D
-
Just a little, although if you raise them from chicks they are just like enormous budgies :P (Erm... kinda...) The ones on the farms and in zoos can be very friendly and approachable but best hide your lunch, WOW they can sure eat :o They'll munch through an entire loaf of bread if you let them :P (Which of course I did :D) I'd love to take Lilo to meet one, they are such curious birds :)
-
What color of eggs do they produce?
-
Emu eggs are the most gorgeous shades of green while cassowarys (depending on their geographical location) produce eggs that range from emerald greens, to grays, browns and through to the most wonderfully vivid blue.
It is the males (of both species) who incubate the eggs and raise the chicks.

What program did you use to put the frames all together?
-
Pleas don't KO this post just because the topic is old. :(
How about a picture of my Pleos. this was hand drawn in one night by me. (with the help of a thing with a light that lets you Trace whats below the paper you are drawing on. ;))
and here it is smaller
and what I traced.
(and more Dino speeches coming soon! ;))
-
Very cute pic :) Pleo's make good models ;)
-
Thank you. :) and yes they do. (anything with an off switch is easier to get in just the right pose. :-X) (but most of my pictures of them were real and not with them off, like for that one. ;))
-
Great job, Pleo Power! I love it!
-
SQUEEEEEEE! I just got a tablet! Expect lots of new art!
(As soon as we actually install it XD)
-
Angel and I are absolutely thrilled to be in the presence of such genesis. "Good Grief" we have a whole array of talented people in different areas, all ages, to draw upon and learn from. The Art is so inspiring to me and I feel I have just opened up a huge box filled with all sorts of goodies.
-
Beautiful drawing, Pleo Power. Great job on the background!
