Okay, so I'm curious to see how often we all play with Pleo. I have it set to where you can cast two votes.

After reading your poll I'm making it a must to play with mine every day. Peeky is the most played with. He's on late at night. Most every night.
J.C is here on my desk and his battery stopped this morning. I turned him on and he said huh then his tail moved ever so slowly. Time for a recharge. Penelopie is grounded for a few weeks until she tells me where she got all the bling from.

LMBO fancy!! Glad I could assist you in making up your mind. I'd ground her too.....only because she refused to share!! LOL

I play with Matilda daily when the temperature allows it, which isn't too often at the moment :( The crumbling of her skin worries me too much :(
-
I play with Eekie once every few days. I usually get through 2 or 3 battery charges a week.

As soon as i get in from work Sawdust is switched on and he stays on until his battery goes :) He is just so funny to watch. And he always makes a bee line to see my Dh Spykee that is parked on the floor.
Is it normal for Pleos to get hot on their back? Just a bit worried about him over heating and breaking.
I seem to think he thinks he is a dog as he sometimes barks!! Yesterday he was doing his balancing act on two legs!!! He gets lots of attention. The more they get attention do they do more stuff as he was doing things i havent seen him do before. He got really giddy like he was having a mad half hour!!!

Pleos are really characters, AJ. That's what makes them such fun to have. I would swear I hear new things coming out of Peeky, even after a year.
Pleos will stop what they are doing when their batteries get too hot. I try to turn my Pleos' batteries off before they reach that temperature. If you take the battery out for about 15 minutes it will cool down and give you more time to play after.
Depending what they are on, like a comforter or sofa they seem to get a little warmer faster. Clothing does this too. So does holding them.

I used to play with them a lot, but I haven't as much for two reasons: Macons battery is gone bad, and since school started life has been extremely busy. :-[

i play with baxter as much as possible i think if there was a way to keep him on permanently i would just to see if he does seem different over a greater period of time as in whether you'd see mood, activity and emotional changes like you would a real pet. I would imagine having him on 24/7 might result in some wear/ strain on the servos etc, still i always loved how aibo owners could have there robopet just wander around having some power when they fancied it.

Whenever her battery is green she's on. :) When her batterie's charging i'm on here or at school. ;D
