Such wonderful people at the Snoopy's Ice Arena.(Snoopy's home) Peeky and Penelopie welcomed the security of having someone close by while learnig to skate.

Peeky and Penelopie in their new little skating outfit.

How cute! Just love their skates!
-
The tip of Peeky's tail is looking quite worn! As is his head :o
Didn't realize it was that apparent!
-
Peeky's tail and head are practically paintless. You can tell he is gets lots of attention. I think it definitely gives him his own look. ;D Penelopie will eventually get the same attention. For now she is just being a great little model. :)

I just looooove the look of wear on the Pleo's skin. :3

Have you never thought of just cutting Peekys neck open and trying to repair the broken cable or asking Mac to try repairing it? You can't do any more harm than has already been done if you pull the skin apart at the seam

I don't want to take any chances. Eventually I'll find someone to fix the cable in his neck. For now he is fine. The kids at the ice arena loved Peeky. I explained why he couldn't hold his neck up. Peeky actually responded to the kids better then Penelopie.
Peeky will soon retire and just be my little companion. He certainly worked hard in entertaining people. :)
-
Hmmmm, I wander what the retirement age is for pleos . . .
-
I think Peeky has worked harder then most Pleos. He probably won't want to retire. We will just have to wait and see. :-\

Those pictures are so adorable!

Thank you! I don't know who had more fun me or them?
Peeky fell over in his skates and the kids at the arena said they heard him go ow! It probably was a huh! but they thought that was so funny! He really put on a show after that. What a good little sport!
-
i really like their Christmas outfits too. I tried to find some for Sephy and Dax with no luck. I finally found a couple of hats but I had to pin them to try and make them small enough for them.. Dang their heads are little!
-
Their little heads weren't made for hats. That's for sure! I've had good luck with Petco for the holiday outfits. I recently had the t-shirts made for skating by Diamond Doggie Fashions on the web. All I had to do was add the skatiing badges.
-
Hey! If we were on the PleoWorld forums, I'd have to edit out that plug for that business! ;) Good thing the folks running this forum aren't as strict. ;) ;)
-
Thank you Mweed. ;D
-
Where on earth did you get those ice skates? I've been looking for some and I couldn't find any. They're so cute! ;D
-
They are doll skates that I cut the boot off. If you have a Michael's craft store they should have them.
Peeky's are more rustic with a woven leather shoe lace and Penelopie's are just attached to her booties.
-
Did they actually skate? I'm thinking of getting Clover rollarblades. :)
-
They weren't on the ice long enough to try. Too cold for them. But I suspect if they picked one leg up they would fall over. They can skate with a little push with all fours on the ice. ;)
-
Hmmm . . . I wonder if you could get them to do the tada trick and still balance on the skates . . . That might be cute! ;)
-
With a lot of patience on my part with balancing the skates, I think I could. Peeky came pretty close but the skates moved around a little too much and weren't quite centered. We'll have to work on this. ;)
A pleo doing a shoot the duck and spiral at the same time.(skating moves.)

I'd love to see a pleo doing that. :)
