Title: Pleo skin issue
Post by: dayfid on September 23, 2010, 06:49:58 PM

I have my new Pleo for about 2 weeks now, from pleoworld.com . we Play about 1 hour every other day.

I have noticed that the skin on the top back is starting to loose color, or chip off. I have not been rough, but I do pet her.

Is this normal for the new improved Pleo?

Yup sadly that is normal. Most people here give their Pleo's clothes to wear to prevent this :)

Yeah i hear that this still happened very quickly even with the new improved 2009 Pleo's   :( that is why i have talked about what other skin types they could use on pleo rb as this is a problem we do not want to see . Looks like reborn will be wearing the same skin and will prob have the same little problem! So i just hope Pleo rb comes with a Pleo cape straight from box as well   ;)

what interests me even more so than skin issues in the new and improved Pleos, 2009 variety, is how much stronger is the neck? Is there anyone here on the forums who has had a Pleo break their neck, and esp not knowing how it happened? I think there are allways going to be some sort of skin issue, so it may not be as realism as I would like Pleos to be, but my four are going to wear clothes, Besides,it gives them each a personality of their own, :)It would be nice if the Pleo RB have skin that does not fade or wear away, but unless they make it out of a different material than they have already been using, I do not think it is going to be any different.
