Hello Everyone , Im new , My name is Adam im 24 and im from the uk , I have always loved pleo since ugobe first brought it out. I havent owned one yet but have had all sorts of virtual and robot pets , tamagochi , furby , the cybie dog thing lol. I still think there are a few basic problems that need to be sorted out first , from wot ive read. So will wait and see if these are sorted with the new 2010 pleos.

Welcome Adam, it seems as if the UK Pleo Owners or members are rapidly growing and they will be thrilled to have you among their ranks! :D I just got my first Pleo this past Christmas, so I am fairly new myself, but it didn't take long to fall in love with Pleo, You are right there are still problems with Pleo, such as the skin, paint, and other things, but sometimes when you wait for an item to get " perfect", it just disappears, I think of many Rock Bands that has that problem, :DI know myself as well as countless other members and ' watchers", are anxiously awaiting the 2010 Pleo to see just what changes have been made and if the newer model is going to be that much different than the past models,
From information we are receiving here on the forums, there seem to be some fairly BIG changes in Pleo RB, this is what Pleo 2010 will be called, If interested in those changes, look to see what Degers , an administrator has posted regarding new changes to the 2010 Model, otherwise known as Pleo RB. Most of us here are very excited to see all these changes, and I am sure if you follow along, you can perhaps get some of the information you need to make the decision whether to get a Pleo or not.
It is nice to see a new members, whether you have a Pleo yet or not, welcome to the Pleo Forums, everyone here is very warm and will welcome you!

Hello Redwoodsmama and Crewella , thankyou so much for that very warm welcome , i understand wot you are saying. I am definitely going to buy a pleo Rb.and wait no more lol but I SO Carnot wait for the release date.
I have been reading all the pleo Rb threads messages so i am well excited to see wot else is posted up. I also have some ideas maybe i will comment on there.

Hi Adam, Welcome to the forum. It is a very interesting time, with the soon to be released, RB Pleos. As you know already, we love our pleos, any shape and form, so with a new pleo about to be released. it's very exciting for all of us. Please make sure you check out the Gallery. So many wonderful photos of our dinos. :)

Hello again Adam, it seems to me that there are MORE international Pleo owners then there are here in the States. :o Actually, I like the fact that in my own town, there are no other Pleos that I know of, If I keep growing my herd, ( four now, five when the Pleo Rb gets here) I think I can start my own Baseball team, just have to start an international Pleo Playoff game!
There are lots of Brits here and you will be meeting them all I am sure. I think If I was you, and hadn't bought a Pleo already, and knowing there was a much improved and great Pleo about to hit the markets, I would be saving up for two of them, I would be so excited, and you have already been reading all the posts and browsing through the forums, you will have more knowledge than the average Pleo first time owner. I know I got my first one, Nova, by accident and didnt read the forums, did not even know about them,as Nova was supposed to be a gift for someone else, and just by accident or fate, and became her owner,( Mama ) without planning on it.
Have you thought of names, wanting a boy or girl, etc one or two yet, clothes, etc. I am sure you have considered everything possible. With the new Pleo Rb and possible things that have been improved, I can't even imagine what to expect except some great great things in Pleo RB;. In a way, I wish I had no Pleos, so Pleo RB would be that First Great Experience that you get with your very first Pleo! ;D

Hello Redwoodsmama , yes i am browsing all i can and reading lol , i have followed pleo since it was first realeased by ugobe. I didn't think it was worth buying then so i waited. I am glad i did because i cannot wait to buy a pleo Rb , i have allready started saving.
I want a girl Pleo which i will call Saphira , I got the name from the Dragon in the film Eragon.
I will also make or buy a little bed and I'm going to get a little collar as well.
I cannot wait yayyyyy

Hi Adam, beautiful name, I have not seen the film you mentioned, but I love dragons as well. Sounds like you are all set for the Pleo RB, so you will be well prepared. Love the idea of making your own pleo bed too! Be sure to post photos!
