Title: just bought a Aibo 210 , How to reset the memory sticks ?

Ive just bought a sony Aibo 210 and it comes with 2 lots of software i want to know how to reset the life 1 software so can raise from pup , any1 know how to do this ?

http://www.aibo-life.org is still fairly active. aiboworld.com is also a good one (and more UK oriented) Aibohack.com and aibo-kennel.com are both invaluable resources.

You need a Sony brand memory stick reader to reset the stick.Only use a Sony branded reader.. otherwise you might screw up your sticks encryption.  I strongly recommend getting a Sony Clie PDA. That will allow you to back up your sticks and make Programmable Sticks out of regular purple ones.

I never did get around to resetting, as in the end I decided to run the similar 'dogslife' instead, though I did do all the research and bought the Clie as mentioned.  I did also perform a bit of 'brain surgery' as directed on aibohack's site with the Aibo Browser 23 and the Aibotool on there, both useful.

If you do decide to reset, remember to do a back up of your LIFE 1 stick first, and definitely get a Sony card reader as suggested

excellent cheers every1 i will have a good read through the websites you have given and work it all out , firstly i need to get a sony brand memory stick reader before i do anything though hehe.
