My long awaited pleo finally came in the mail today! He is so much softer than I imagined they would be.
Unfortunitly I forgot that the charger was of the UK variety (I live in Canada). So I have to buy a plug converter to charge him up. Until I can go get it (probably tomorrow) I'm introducing him to all the live house pets.
My cat sniffed him once then ignored him. My dog is fascinated by the new plastic smell. :D
Now that I have him I'm gonna make/buy him clothes to protect his skin (as he's an older ugobe)
oooooh, I'm so happy that he's here!!! Even my brother, who was curious cuse of the technology likes him. I caught him patting the head absantly while he was looking at him. And that's WITHOUT power.
*rolls around with her new pleo*

Raieth, I am so so happy for you! I bet your can't wait to get the adapter but in the meantime like you said, you can get some clothes to protect the skin, and figure out if it is a girl or boy, and think of possible names. I know I love the way the skins feels too, My cats don't mind Ple, Nova, but my dog does get a little carried away and I have to watch out for her tail, as she is a lab mix and 60 pds, one swipe of a innocent tail, and Over Nova goes with possible injury, I am so excited for you, Congratulations!

Welcome Raieth and congratulations on your new arrival. Let us know the moment you have your dino up and running. Wait until your brother sees him/her in action. :)

Woohoo :) Congrats on the new arrival :D Can't wait to see some outfits :)
-
Congrats so much on your Pleo :)
I had the same problem you are having (mine came with the US adapter, I'm in the Netherlands)
So I bought the right adapter online.
I hope your pleo will run great soon :)

Yeah! You must be so happy! Hope you will get him charget up soon ;)

I managed to find a store that sells the type I need (best buy if anyone is curious). My mom is skeptical because of the cost, so we both agreed that they are not to be introduced until he is "alive".

I hope that's soon! My cats don't like the sound of the motors so give him a wide berth! :)

Hehe, they sing so cute.
Is there a trick to carrying them? Or do you just have to get them used to it?
-
The easiest way is to either get them to sit and place a hand under their butt to hold them or cradle them against your should like a baby, after a while they will stretch their legs out and nuzzle into you. (Holding your hand on the lower back will get them to stretch out faster without getting too upset.)
